This past weekend marked the first "live" period of the 2023 grassroots season, and The Clash has typically always been a great way to start the recruiting season. Several of the Midwest's, Northeast's, East Coast's, and South's better teams made their way to Hamilton, Ohio, and the new 28-court Spooky Nook facility at Champion Mill. With so many courts in one location, it's no wonder why nearly every school from the Midwest was seen evaluating prospects. Below is a look at a handful of forwards and posts who caught our eye during the 3-day event.

She has really nice length, she has a somewhat fluid athleticism to her, and she changes ends of the floor well. At this point, I think she could become a really nice small college prospect who many of the elite Midwestern schools would have interest in. And she still flashes the potential to continue growing her game.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["406432"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"This weekend was my first opportunity to see Jadyn in person. She has an extremely long, wiry-strong frame. She can get North/South fairly easily and runs the floor with speed. She could stand to play a little lower and move laterally a little better, but she does a really nice job of seeking contact and trying to be physical with her wiry frame. As she continues gaining strength and understands leverage, I think she could draw a varying degree of college interest, plus she has a nice ceiling.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_player_details_selected_featured_image":510452,"_player_evaluations_2_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_2_player_details_player_name":"Jasmine Horsman","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_2_player_details_graduating_class":"2024","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_2_player_details_height":"6'1u0022","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_2_player_details_position":"12120","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_2_player_details_school":"Roncalli","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_2_player_details_club_team":"Gym Rats-Nic","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_2_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_2_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"This was also my first time seeing Jasmine play. I have had her name for some time, but I was happy to finally catch her in action. She is extremely long, wiry, and fluidly athletic. She definitely needs to continue building strength and some skill, but she plays hard, runs the floor, and tries to be physical around the paint. She instantly draws you in because of her length and athleticism, so if she works at it and builds up her skillset, she could eventually be a full-scholarship prospect somewhere.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["201876"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"Abbie has always been an athletic forward, and she tends to play with an outstanding motor. She can get up and down the floor relatively easily, she will battle bigger/stronger opponents, when necessary, but she can also step outside and defend wings and some bigger guards at times. Offensively, she has stretched her game a bit throughout her career, and she is much more comfortable at 17-feet than she was even 6-8 months ago. She possesses a lot of athletic talent and versatility for the next level.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["177358"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"Kate is a forward who plays with a tremendous motor. She never quits on a play, is often seen diving through chairs, and she has a knack for coming up with key loose balls. She is extremely long, wiry-strong, and deceptively physical in her frame. She has great hands and can pull down odd-angled rebounds as well. She is comfortable anywhere inside the arc offensively, and she is just starting to be more comfortable around the perimeter. She has great value as a prospect because of her motor and versatility.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_5_player":["295761"],"_player_evaluations_5_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"In a 2025 class lacking a great deal of size, Nevaeh is a strong, physical, but athletic forward who should draw plenty of college suitors the next couple of years. She has broad shoulders, she seeks out contact, and she can score with her back to the basket or by attacking defenders off the bounce. This past weekend, she also stepped outside and showed the ability to knock down the occasional 3-pointer, and she handled it some in transition. I doubt she'll grow much, but she's building up her skillset nicely.","_player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_6_player":["622340"],"_player_evaluations_6_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"Alaina has already drawn some attention because of her height at her age, and it appears Southern Indiana has quite a few sizeable 2027s to keep an eye on. In what I was able to see, Alaina showed the ability to get out and run the floor, she has solid hands, and she has some skill around the paint and facing the basket. As most youngsters do, she will need to continue building her strength and working on her base, but she could still grow more, and she has really nice athletic tools to work with.","_player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":7,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-6447d38938fa5"} /-->
