Mia Griffin | Guard | AR Lady Shooters
When I got the chance to see Mia play I loved seeing her effort on both ends of the floor. The on-ball pressure she applied was smothering to the offense and often caused her opponent to rush and keep them out of running their offense efficiently. When off the ball Mia was a great at anticipating and playing the passing lanes. She also shot the three, attacked off the dribble and finished through contact.
Maggie Tyrone | Wing | AR Shockers
Maggie is wing player that has good length and knows how to use that length on the defensive end of the floor. Her long arms and anticipation creates problems for the ball handler and gives opportunity for steals and deflections when playing the passing lane. She also attacks off the dribble, shoots the three, and can finish in traffic.
Ashlyn Cossley | Post | AR Shockers
Ashlyn is a post player that possesses a number of skills. Her ability and skills make it difficult for the traditional post player to defend her. She can score on the low block, operate out of the high post, and attack off the catch from the perimeter. Add in her rebounding and defensive presence and you have a solid player that can play and defend multiple positions.
London Hicks | Wing | No Limit
London showed good all-around skills throughout the weekend. Her consistency is what caught my attention. Each time she stepped on the floor she showed she could handle the ball, attack off the dribble, and finish at the rim. She also brought energy and effort on the defensive end.
Izzy Harness | Guard | AR United
I love watching players that play the game the right way. Izzy is a fundamentally sound player that doesn’t try to do too much on the floor. She’s a good playmaker off the dribble that can deliver on-target passes. Izzy is a threat from behind the three-point line when she’s spotted up and when she attacks in transition she can finish at difficult angles.
