She is a dynamic scorer in the low post with her footwork and variety of moves to score inside. She was also excellent on the drive as she scored a several nice takes to the basket. She rebounded the ball well and she can make her teammates better with her passing ability.
****
Addy Addell (Crossover Hoops Elite 15U): A 5’7″ 2025 point guard from Highland who displayed excellent court vision throughout the game that I watched. She was always looking to advance the ball upcourt with the pass for an easy scoring opportunity. She has a good feel for the game and she also has the ability to score at all three levels. She can create her own shot off the dribble when she needs to. A very impressive young floor general.
******
Willow Gideon Willow Gideon 5'10" | SG Rolla | 2024 State MO (Lady BBE 17U): A 5’10” 2024 shooting guard from Rolla who was one of the more impressive perimeter shooters that I watched during the day. It was her 3-point shooting that keyed a big 13-0 run in the second half as Lady BBE rallied to defeated the Illinois Lady Lightning. She knocked down a couple of triples of successive possessions, then followed up for a drive in the lane for a basket and the And 1. She moves well without the ball to keep the floor spaced.
******
Anna Campanelli (Illinois Lightning 17U): A 5’11” 2024 wing player who does a little bit of everything to help her team succeed. She is excellent without the ball as she moves constantly and reads defenses very well to score on her cuts to the basket. She is an excellent passer and the ball doesn’t stick to her hands, which keeps the offense moving smoothly. She can also slash to the basket well. She is a very good defender who can use her length and tenacity to guard multiple positions.
*******
Sydney Pfister Sydney Pfister 5'10" | PG Lutheran South | 2026 State MO (Phee Elite 15U – Oldani): A 5’9″ 2025 guard from Lutheran South who has good athleticism and the overall skill set to excel as a playmaker and scoring threat. She has a nice spin move in the lane and she had a good drop off dimes in the lane to open teammates. She scored well in the transition game and she also hit a pair of open 3-pointers.
*******
Paige Fowler (Midwest United 17U): A 5’9′ 2024 forward from Lift for Life who plays much bigger than her actual size. She makes up for being undersized inside by playing with a high motor at all times. She is a tenacious rebounder, especially on the offensive boards where she is good for at least a couple of putbacks a game. She can also out-maneuver taller players inside with her good footwork and quick jump around the basket.
*******
Tayla Robinson Tayla Robinson 5'5" | PG Battle | 2025 State MO (Bradley Beal Elite 16U): A 5’5″ 2025 point guard from Battle who has the excellent combination of playmaking skills to go along with the ability to get a bucket. Her basketball IQ is very high and decision making is good. She is quick and stays low on the dribble and she runs the pick and roll very well. She can drop the nice dime and hit the roll down with a pocket pass. She can also break down defenders off the dribble to set up the drive or the 3-point shot.
