Yannah and her teammates finished the weekend (1-3) here at the PGH Triumph Region Kick Off. Seaberry plays both guard spots in the backcourt for her squad. She plays for her father on this S.H.O.T.S. United squad.
Yannah understands where to be on the floor at all times to make a play. She brings good activity and good awareness. Seaberry connected on several perimeter jumpers this weekend for her team. She plays every minute of the game like it’s her last possession – never a letdown in performance while on the floor.
Abercrombie and a slow start on Friday night in the opener for the Lady Sixers. Quinasia fouled out early at the 11:20 mark in the first game with just 6 points.
She surely came to play on Day 2 with performances of 20, 29 and 38 point games. Quinasia is best while playing the game in attack mode and getting to the bucket. She has good athleticism to get by defenders in the open court and score the ball in transition. Abercrombie plays the game so aggressively and literally never lets up in performance. She rebounds the ball on both ends of the floor and does an exceptional job of rebounding it outside of her area.
Abercrombie was the Class 4A State Player of the Year this past season for the Lady Generals.
Pounds and her teammates went (4-0) on the weekend here at the Prep Girls Hoops Triumph Region Kick Off. Madison does a nice job of handling the rock in the backcourt and making plays for herself and her teammates. She really keeps the ball on a string at times while attacking the gaps and touching the paint. Madison feels comfortable dropping in the mid-range jumper at times.
Pounds brings good versatility to the floor with her ability to defend multiple positions.
Highlights
Powe has a soft set of hands to finish around the cup. Laken has no problems being a mover-screener at times out in the high post while rolling down for a soft lay in at the bucket. Powe will play with her back to the basket and really look to make room working down low on the block.
She helped her team to (4-0) weekend here in Spartanburg.
Highlights
Gibson a UNSIGNED combo guard showed some good flashes this weekend for her Peach State team Georgia Dominance. She was able to attack the basket working through contact with ease. Gibson has nice range on her shot and was always the go-to player on this Georgia Dominance squad. She connected on a few three pointers today for her efforts.
