The event featured a three-point contest as well as a featured game between the top SGV/IE players against a collection of other top seniors dubbed the “Road” All-Stars. I was able to attend the event and here’s a look at the second group of five standouts I saw.

is a fundamentally sound forward who can score in a variety of ways. She can play in the paint and has good footwork around the basket. Uses glass with a nice touch at the basket. Can put the ball on the floor at times and make aggressive moves to the bucket. Able to space the floor with consistent three-point shooting. Improved playmaking game as well.
2. Autumn Hill – Marlborough
A Puget Sound commit, Hill is a big body in the paint who can take up space. Uses her size well to box out and grab rebounds especially on the offensive end. Hill’s strength lies in her rebounding and her defensive ability. She’s an anchor in the paint who blocks shots an alters many others. Does a good job staying vertical.
3. Sydnee Salcedo – Riverside Poly
Salcedo stood out as a good point guard, small but effective. She runs the offense well and is a pass first, unselfish player. Does a good job looking for and finding teammates in the halfcourt. Pushes the pace well in transition, good ball-handler. A scrappy, tough defender on ball who can also get in the passing lanes and force turnovers. Good rebounder for a small guard.
4. Alana Diaz – Northview
Diaz has good size for a forward. Maybe able to play center in certain lineups as well. She hits the glass well and uses her athleticism and length to her advantage. She can put the ball on the floor, able to drive baseline and attack the basket. She can draw contact well. Can finish strong at the basket.
5.

Also an Emerson commit like her twin sister, this Arnold has a similar game. She’s a little bit more of a floor spacer as evidenced by her strong showing in the three-point contest. She’s also very fundamentally sound and does a good job running the floor in transition. She can be active in the paint, crashing the glass and finishing with a nice touch at the basket.
