Grace Fincham
The 5-7 guard made some great plays on both ends of the floor during the Sunshine State Showdown. Her precision passing was on point and moved exceptionally well without the ball. She averaged around 9 points per game this past weekend playing for All Iowa Attack as well as nearly four assists. Fincham was at her best when she was cutting to the basket and finishing around the rim.
The 5-8 shooting guard was on full display on Sunday at the Sunshine State Showdown. She was an initiator on the offensive end who can score in a variety of ways. Tuttle showed all the tools as well whether it was her passing, scoring or playing off the ball. On the defensive end, Tuttle was very vocal at telling her teammates where they needed to be, so she has a high basketball IQ on both ends of the floor. Her versatility will make her one of the top prospects in her class.
Fandel is a upcoming prospect that college coaches need to come see, as she plays a very mature game beyond her years. Fandel was cutting and moving exceptionally well without the basketball and found ways to score whether it was around the rim or shooting from beyond the arc, typically in the corners. Fandel already holds offers from Drake and South Dakota State.
The Northern Illinois University commit was exceptional at her perimeter shooting against DME Travel where she led all scorers with 14 points on four made 3-pointers. Carlsen also dished out some solid assists to teammate Alli Tanke throughout the day and weekend at the Sunshine State Showdown. Carlsen also got it done on the defensive end as well where she was jumping into the passing lanes getting steals as well.
Highlights
The 6-0 guard shot the basketball with a ton of confidence throughout the weekend playing for DME Academy. She was a score-first guard and averaged over 15 points per game in the three games at the Sunshine State Showdown. Kane can impact the game with her defense as well with her on the ball skills and ability to read passes and force turnovers.
The 5-9 combo guard brought her length and athleticism on both ends of the floor, whether it was blocking shots on one end or finishing around the rim on the other. Ballard also expanded her range knocking down a pair of 3-pointers for ECU Family 17U. Ballard can also play multiple positions on both ends of the floor but is traditionally used as either the combo guard or wing position.
The 5-9 combo guard is one of the most underrated prospects in the Class of 2024. Richardson can do it all whether it’s her perimeter shooting, finishing around the rim or getting defensive rebounds. Richardson is a leader on both ends of the floor and it displayed this weekend playing for Central Florida Elite.
