Excellent basketball was displayed at a very high level. The following is a list of top performers at the point guard position;
Kylah Pearcy Kylah Pearcy 5'8" | CG Greenwood | 2026 State AR -Arkansas Fastdogs, 5’9″ Greenwood H.S. 2026-This sophomore to be, pictured above, only needs to get physically stronger to demand the attention of college coaches. She’s got all the necessary tools to play at the next level. Kylah is intelligent, quick, and can drive and shoot as well as anyone on the court. Look for this young gun to get plenty of attention this coming school year.
Kadee Keaster Kadee Keaster 5'6" | PG Atkins | 2025 State AR – Arkansas Sting 17U, Atkins H.S. 2025-Don’t let her size fool you. She’ll blow right by you for a lay-in. Kadee is as quick as a cat. And her anticipation skills will amaze you. She’s a silent leader that speaks loudly with her game. Kadee is probably one of the most unselfish point guards I’ve seen play. She will shoot the three when it’s available and her touch-to-turnover ratio is as good as anyone in the state.
Aubriana Wilson-Lang Thunder 17U, 5’4″ Springdale H.S. 2024-I’ve written about Aubriana before and now need to add more to her list of skills. Aubriana is not only smart, quick, and agile but she’s a leader. That’s important at the point guard position. I was impressed by the way she slices through the defense in transition. But her biggest asset is her 3-point shooting, either off the dribble or working without the ball for a catch-and-shoot opportunity.
Karlie Cursh Karlie Cursh 5'4" | PG Dardanelle | 2024 State AR -Swaggin’ Dragons-5’5″ Dardanelle H.S. 2024-Unselfish and unafraid. Karlie is an excellent ball handler and gets touches on every possession. She can shoot the three-ball or drive and dish for a layup. Her maturity and IQ are her strengths and she’ll carry that forward to the school season and lead her team to a post-season appearance.
Austyn Oholendt Austyn Oholendt 5'7" | PG Bryant | 2025 State AR -Team Arkansas Elite-Bryant H.S. 2025-Austyn is physical. She has the size to overpower her opponent. She is strong and will penetrate the defense and attack the rim. She can defend and her anticipation skills are top-notch. Austyn has expanded her game and will play a huge part for the Hornets next school season.
Angel Dickerson-TOI Baylor 2024-5’5″ Morgan Park H.S. Illinois-I just had to add Angel to this outstanding list of point guards. She probably got the most productivity per pound of anyone in the tournament. She’s one of those sneaky players that log steals, scores points, and picks up 50/50 loose balls to lead her team to victories. She’s in the middle of every play on the court. I like her floor maturity and she displays an excellent basketball IQ.
The Ball So Hard Event featured over 50 teams. This list is just a small sample of point guards I was fortunate enough to see play. Next up, BSHE Bigs and Power Forwards.
