2025 Rankings Versatile Big’s

The 2025 Rankings were recently updated by the Prep Hoops staff. The Forward position has changed in todays brand of basketball. Here we look at 5 Bigs from the rankings. [player_tooltip player_id='364120' first='Molly' last='Sisson'], Position PF, High School Old Rochester Molly is a versatile, and skilled 6'3 big. She moves very well for her size, and has good touch around the rim. She even can stretch the floor and shoot from the outside. When she draws the double team down low, she does a good job passing to the open player. Molly also plays good defense without fouling. Molly's combination of size and skill, give her the ability to succeed at the next level. [player_tooltip player_id='282804' first='Kate' last='Allard'], Position F, High School Bedford Kate is one of the most versatile bigs in her class. She has a very good skill set for todays brand of basketball. She can play multiple positions. She can score from the outside and inside. She can be a slasher from the perimeter, post up, and has also has much improved her outside shooting. Defensively she is very tough, and can guard positions 1-5. She stretches the floor with her outside shooting, and her ability to handle the ball, and run the floor. She can play in transition and run the floor like a guard. She is also a very physical player, and can face up and finish through contact. On defense she can cover a lot of the floor, and can defend multiple positions. She does a good job playing team defense, and playing in the helpside. [player_tooltip player_id='335231' first='Eva' last='Boudreau'], Position F, High School Wilmington, Eva is a stretch forward. She is a knock down three point shooter, and has a quick shot release. Eva is also strong in transition. She knows when to take it her herself, or when to pass the ball up the floor. Eva is a playmaker, that can create her own shot. She is a high energy player and a hustler. [player_tooltip player_id='269256' first='Colleen' last='Phiri'], Position F, High School Tilton, Colleen is a versatile and inside out player. She has a good combination of strength and mobility. Her strength helps her mussel down rebounds, and score off the dribble through contact. She is a three level scorer. She can shoot from the outside, mid range, and score at the rim. A tough player, with a good skill set as well.
