<p>Several players who I had the chance to see in the 17U age group caught my attention with their solid play on Saturday morning at the Buckeye Breakdown in Columbus, </p>

<p><strong>Addilynn Irick, Dayton Vipers Elite</strong></p>

<p>Good strong, physical kid. She does a good job at sealing her defender at the rim. Moves well and can get off the floor. Soft touch around the basket, rising star in her class. Nice footwork in the paint.</p>

<p><strong>Elizabeth St. Marie, NWI Thunder </strong></p>

<p>Good finisher at the rim, nice defender and can react well to the play. Capitalizes on her defense which can turn into points. Smart player and can anticipate the game. </p>

<p>Strong moves to the rim, not afraid of contact in the paint. Able to make plays with active hands. Good basketball IQ. </p>

<p>A strong force in the paint, very long and her wingspan makes it difficult for her opponents to score at the rim. Runs the floor very well and can play through contact and his physical. Great back to the basket player</p>

<p>Really a scrappy player who always seems to be in the action. Can rebound, hand the ball, and score. Just a good hard working player with good court vision.</p>
