Buckeye Breakdown- Saturday AM Standouts

She does a good job at sealing her defender at the rim. Moves well and can get off the floor. Soft touch around the basket, rising star in her class.  Nice footwork in the paint.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Elizabeth St. Marie, NWI Thunder </strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Good finisher at the rim, nice defender and can react well to the play. Capitalizes on her defense which can turn into points. Smart player and can anticipate the game. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Mackenzie Wassermann, NWI Thunder</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Strong moves to the rim, not afraid of contact in the paint. Able to make plays with active hands. Runs the floor very well and can play through contact and his physical. She can play inside or out, defensively does a good job against the post with her link. And also knock it down from the perimeter. Can rebound, hand the ball, and score.
