This showcase brings together some of the top young talent in girls’ basketball, including the standout players of the 14U division. The players listed below made an impact on the court and show a promising future as basketball athletes.
2027 Gabriella Grigsby | 6’1″ / F | Hoopers United 2027 | #12
Long and athletic. Has a strong presence around the rim on defense. She had a spectacular chase-down block in the first game on Saturday. Plays with good energy and with consistency could make a huge impact for her team.
2028 Laila Tally | 5’7″ / G | Hoopers United 2028 | #14
Athletic player that plays with a business mindset. She is there to get her job done. She uses her athleticism to cause havoc on the defensive end – getting deflections, rebounds and loose balls. She competes and produces a lot of things that could some times get overlooked. Can hit the mid-range jumper and attack the rim for buckets.
2028 Alayzia Mcnack | 5’2″ / G | EYG 2028
Tough player that has quick instincts on the defensive end – quick hands and quick feet. If the ball is in the air around her, know that she is rotating and in the right spot to make a defensive play. She handles the ball good and doesn’t do anything out of her abilities. Good passer and dribbles with her head up.
2027 Kyndall Whitley | 5’8” / SF | Texas Platinum 2027 Lane
Kyndall is a worker! She is locked in and plays with active hands and active feet on the defensive end and is an important part of her teams full-court press. She can shoot the mid range and can occasionally make the outside shot. She plays hard and relies on her energy and athleticism to impact on the court and being a team player by sharing the ball with her teammates.
2030 Trinity Boyd | 5’4” / PG | True Texas Hoops 2028 National #11
Smooth guard with handles and confidence. She rarely gets sped-up when pressured and makes the correct pass when playing. She shoots with confidence and will catch on fire if you leave her open. She also attacks the basket and finishes at the rim. She is tough and will battle against bigger players when rebounding, despite her size and age.
