Continue ReadingI really love what Sanai brings to the lead guard position. She truly excels on the break in transition where you can see how her eyes are scanning the floor to find her teammates. She had a beautiful back door bounce pass to a teammate that was running the break with her which led to an easy layup. She is an extremely strong defender whose hands always seem to be in contact movement. Just an overall really good PG that a coach can trust to run the offense.
Emma is a PG whose basketball IQ is way ahead of her time. She also brings so much toughness to the court. She will find a way to get to the basket by any means necessary. She demands attention when she has the ball in her hands because she is such a dynamic ball handler and knows when she needs to get others involved and when she needs to take over. During Saturday’s game, Emma continuously got to the free throw line as she stayed in attack mode without losing control of the ball. We look forward to watching her play over the next several years.
Mila has received a number of High Major offers of late and this should come as no surprise. Mila appears to be playing the PG position at a different speed than everyone else. She does a great job controlling the pace of the game and just appears to be in control of the game at all times. She can play very well within the framework of an offense or she can push the tempo. She is just an overall high level PG.
Tori is just a playmaker. When she has the ball in her hands, she forces you to watch her. Offensively, she excels in nearly all facets as she is able to create for herself and for others. On defense, she can defend full court and attacks her opponent’s dominant hand which cause turnovers. She is just an overall fantastic player to watch.
Wow is the best word to describe Lauren’s game as she had a superb day. She knows how to run an offense and coaches can put the ball in her hands to make things happen. She is terrific off the dribble as defenders found it difficult to stay in front of her. She was able to get to the rim at will and attacks the lane hard. She didn’t appear to flinch as she went right at the massive Lady Strong 2024 front court time and time again. She is a true leader and commands attention at all times; even when the ball is not in her hands. Already holding a handful of D1 offers, this list will undoubtedly grow if she continues to show out the way she did today.
Serenity used her speed to her advantage Saturday as she was lightening quick off the dribble every time she had the ball in her hands. She is a very reliable PG that knows how to play well within an offense even if she is not the focal point. She does a great job penetrating the lane and drawing in the defense. She had a nice drive right down the lane where she finished with a beautify up and under scoop shot off the glass.
