Here is a report on multiple “Glass Cleaners” from the Class of 2025. Athletes who hit the boards during the sophomore seasons, and still have two years of high school left to prove themselves as college prospects.
This is the second report on top rebounders across the state who are on the leaderboard for rebounds during the 2022-2023 season.
Jaelyn Daily Jaelyn Daily 5'9" | PF Wallace County | 2025 State KS , 5’9”, F, Wallace County
Daily averaged 9.0 rebounds per game for Wallace County during the 2022-2023 season. She also averaged 8.8 points per game. Daily has a solid jump shot and contributes on both ends of the court. Basketball is her primary sport and appears she has a solid shot at playing college ball down the road.
Olivia Carlson, 5’9”, C, Centre
Carlson averaged 8.6 rebounds per game during her sophomore season. She also averaged 7.9 points per game. Carlson is very athletic and competes in multiple sports. Along with basketball and volleyball as well as competing in gymnastics and diving.
Samantha Klotz Samantha Klotz 5'9" | PF Royal Valley | 2025 State KS , 5’9”, SG, Royal Valley
Klotz averaged 8.6 rebounds during her sophomore campaign. Klotz, right now, has a larger impact on the defensive end of the court. She averaged 2.1 steals per game and just short of one block a game. Like other athletes at schools the size of Royal Valley she competes in multiple sports and shines in them all. She plays volleyball and softball and competes in track and field.
Averi Windholz, 5’11”, C, Victoria
Windolz averaged 8.2 rebounds per game during the 2022-2023 season. She also averaged 11.3 points per game. Windholz is a bear on the offensive end. She can score with her back to the basket and move to her left or the right.
Anette Hernandez, 5’9”, SF, Golden Plains
Hernandez finished her sophomore season averaging 8.0 rebounds per game. She scored 9.9 points per game and averaged 3.3 steals per game. Hernandez is a hustle player who beats other players to spots for rebounds. She also plays outside hitter for the Bulldogs on the volleyball court.
