Mazyck played a lot on the ball today for the Charleston based S.H.O.T.S. United squad. The left-handed Mazyck seems to be at her best when she looks to attack and stalk at times the baseline. She can keep the defense honest at times with her ability to connect on the mid-range jumper. Malaya saw plenty of action this past season for the Lady Warriors at the Class 5A level.
Wallace is a pit-bull at times with her willingness to get ball to the cup. She seems to be at her best when in attack mode and touching the paint. Rihanna will look to push the tempo when given the opportunity. Wallace really likes to use the ball screen at times to turn corner at times on the way to the cup.
Rihanna changes directions very well to slip by defenders. SHE NEVER TAKES A PLAY OFF WHILE ON THE HARDWOOD.
Turner is a TOUGH kid who seems to have no quit in her game for the Upward Stars Upstate 2025 squad. Jensyn has a nose for the ball and always seems to be around it to make a play. She won’t hesitate to jump on the floor for a loose ball or look to attack the basket while absorbing some contact on the way.
Turner and Wallace give this Upward Stars Upstate program a nice duo in the backcourt for Head Coach Devario Burnside. Oh yeah both of Turner and Wallace are playing up an age group.
Harris came to play today in a win for the Carolina Lady Raptors 16U. Shiriah saw good playing time this past season for the Lady Indians at the varsity level. She was really comfortable today knocking down shots on the perimeter along with the free throw line. Harris has all the tools at times to show some good versatility on the floor.
Aaliyah a left-handed wing connected on some mid-range jumpers and really liked to play in the short corner at times today. She was able to leak out in transition at times for some cheapies in transition. Aaliyah played very active on defense was able to pick up some deflections in the passing lanes.
Lee is a name you will hear from quite a bit down the road for the Dutch Fork Lady Foxes in the years to come.
