Over the next few days, I'll highlight a few kids in 2026, 2025, and 2024 classes to watch this weekend in Appleton. There will be kids who'll end up playing at every level in college, and I'd like to highlight a few of them before they tip off on Friday night in the Fox Valley. I'll finish today with the 15u teams.

[player_tooltip player_id='842257' first='Sheamarie' last='Ashley']

I hadn't heard of Ashley before her first campaign at Beaver Dam, but I know who she is after it. She's an intelligent lead guard who gets after it on both ends of the floor and can play against some of the best kids in the state and not back down. Ashley always seems in control and hardly makes mistakes with the ball in her hands, which is how she ended up playing significant minutes at a traditional D2 power in Beaver Dam. She doesn't have a big name right now, but as she gets older and her resume gets more prominent, people will learn her name.

[player_tooltip player_id='842235' first='Mallory' last='Glysch']

Glysch also doesn't have a significant reputation now, but she's primed for a breakout next season at Muskego and this summer. She's a knockdown 3-point shooter, and with time and space, I'm more surprised when she misses than when she makes her shots. The lefty has room to grow over the next few years on both ends, but her shooting can break games open right now, and she's nowhere near how good she'll be in a few years.

[player_tooltip player_id='514898' first='Quinn' last='Arundel']

If you want to see a dynamic kid who can catch fire any time, watch EBA Ice's 2026 group, particularly [player_tooltip player_id='514898' first='Quinn' last='Arundel']. She has in the gym range and isn't afraid to show it off whenever someone gives her enough room to breathe. She demands everyone's attention on the defensive side of the ball, but she's more than just a scorer. She's good at distributing as well. Arundel draws so much attention, and she's well aware that when multiple bodies go at her, it means one of her teammates is open, and she does a good job finding them. However, if you're looking for someone to draw oohs and ahhs, look no further than Arundel.

Nyajuacni Riak

One of the few 2027s playing 15u, Riak is one of the most talented kids at the gym. She's nowhere near the finished product yet, but there are moments that she creates that few others could even imagine. She can create off the dribble at 6-0 and shoot over anyone that lines up in front of her. If you watch her, don't expect her to be perfect, but when she gets into situations she's comfortable in, there won't be a kid that can defend her, they can only hope for her to miss whatever shot Riak decides to take, and that's what makes what she can be special.
