“Must See” Guards This Summer – Part 1

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This past weekend, during the Spring College Live Period, a lot of talented guards and players from Florida participated in various tournaments around the country and had some exceptional performances. In this article we take a look at some of the players who balled out. Beyer has added more to her game since the last time I saw her play in the District Semi-finals. Ivery has great offensive skills and her shooting ability keeps the defense honest and keeps the floor open for her bigs to operate on the inside. Ivery is a great passer and loves to share the rock with her teammates.   She can attack the basket and also shoot the pull up jumper in transition. Defensively, she is a great on-ball defender who likes to get after it. Price had some nice plays and showed that she has a versatile game that also includes attacking the basket and also hitting midrange and step back jumpers.
