Peach Games was one of four Prep Girls Hoops Circuit events to take place this weekend with other events occurring in Wisconsin, Ohio and Texas.
Sometimes, one may feel a bit groggy following a night’s rest before having to prepare for a morning game with a pregame shootaround. These standouts were among the first on Saturday’s Peach Games card and arrived at the home of the Lions rested instead of rusty.
Early morning contests can sometimes faze players – particularly at this level. That was not the case on Saturday morning at Lithia Springs’ auxiliary gym as Harris had herself a great game to pace TKO United (19 points). She particularly was effective from behind the 3-point arc as she drained three 3-pointers in the first half. Harris has a knack for finding the exact spot on the court where she looks to shoot from. Defensively, she combines her 5-foot-7 stature with length and that enables her to come away with steals and affect an opponent’s passing lanes. It also allows her to reject a few shots as well on the defensive end of the floor.

Bree had the Wood Elite fans in attendance at the home of the Lions smiling with glee. Rogers led her team’s efforts with a 16-point outing against a TKO United 2026 team that was fresh off a double-digit point win over Carolina All-Stars 2025 the previous evening. Among the plays she has the ability to make are near the rim and she also knows how to put herself in position to haul in rebounds. Rogers also does many of the things may not always show up on a scoreboard – including hustling for loose balls and always playing with a heads-up mentality.

Wood Elite 2025 may not have got the result it was looking for in its matchup with TKO United 2026, but she tallied 11 points to give a lift to her team. Conkell is not shy about attempting 3-pointers – and she has reason to not be given how many of them she can drain. She also will absorb her fair share of contact that can place her at the free throw line. Between her and Rogers, the Woodstock connection did wonders for Wood Elite 2025 in what was a hard-fought contest against TKO United 2026 to begin day two of Peach Games.
South Carolina-based Tempo Sports Academy was given all it can handle on Saturday against a gritty Kentucky Blue Devils 2026 bunch. By virtue of Christian’s 11-point effort, her team managed to outlast their foes from the Bluegrass State. A good bit of Christian’s offensive output came by virtue of the 3-point shot. She had all 11 of her points in the first half of play – including three successful 3-pointers. Christian also understands how to convert on tough shot opportunities and will get herself in good position to haul in rebounds. The point guard for the 3A Bears is listed at 5-foot-7.
At the outset of the 2023 AAU campaign, Ortiz carried a wave of momentum from the high school season given her 3A Walhalla bunch made a deep run in the playoffs. Ortiz displayed exactly she was such a valuable element to the Razorbacks success on Saturday morning. She contributed 11 points in what was a hard-fought victory over Kentucky Blue Devils 2026. Ortiz is a reliable rebounder who also has a midrange jump shot as part of her overall offensive repertoire. In addition, she is a multi-sport athlete as Ortiz also partakes in volleyball in addition to her basketball exploits.

On Saturday in a contest against South Carolina-based Tempo Sports Academy, Simmons’ Kentucky Blue Devils 2026 fell behind big only to mount a ferocious rally that got her team back in the game. Her team may not have come away with the win, but she still managed to tally nine points to lead all scorers for the bunch out of the Bluegrass State. She stands at an even six feet and that can come in useful in various aspects of the game – including as a rebounder. Simmons also will draw a good bit of contact which can give her opportunities at the free throw line and displays her offensive versatility via her 3-point shooting.
