Continues to really round out her game. She’s always been a terrific defender, and is really increasing her offensive efficiency. Hitting threes with regularity now, which will open up gaps and closeouts to exploit.
Highlights
Ashley Rucker Ashley Rucker 5’10” | SG MTCS | 2026 State TN is getting so darn good! Her offensive skill is really rising, and her face up game is tough! Whether she faces up and rises into a midrange, or faces up and attacks off the bounce (can go right or left)…she has the tools to keep a defense off balance. She’s also really improving her ability to finish through contact at the rim.
Highlights
Kim Cooper Kim Cooper 5’8″ | SF Ensworth | 2026 State TN ’26 out of Ensworth played really solid basketball over the weekend. Can really distribute the ball, shows high understanding of the game, and picks her spots to score. Defensively is a really physical defender that can simply over power weaker guards.

Kora Johnson
Kora Johnson
Had an overall great weekend. Shot well from 3, and consistency in stretching the floor is the key to her offseason. Averaged 10 points and 6 rebounds. High upside kid with great genetics (sister of former UT star Keon Johnson).
The East Nashville product is a 1 on 1 nightmare. She’s rounding into a legit 3 level scorer. Kinda plays with that “old man” game of understanding that changes in speed and direction are ultimately more important than simple “blow by speed” as you begin playing better defenses at high levels.
She is basically always the strongest player on the court….on every court she walks onto. Her motor is one of the best in the state. Her controllables are fantastic. Can switch 1 through 5. Underrated passing IQ on offense.
Tayla Stovall Tayla Stovall 5'2" | PG Ezell-Harding | 2027 State TN
Tayla Stovall Tayla Stovall 5'2" | PG Ezell-Harding | 2027 State TN
Plays tenacious defense, runs a team well as a pass-first PG. Vocal leader. Knows where everyone is supposed to be. Can score when needed, but really looks to be a distributor with this team.
Nalani Gainey Nalani Gainey 5’5″ | PG Central Gwinnett | 2026 State GA (GA) was the surprise of the weekend for this group. Is already a college level defender. Extremely active hands cause tons of deflections and turnovers. Is just DIFFERENT athletically. Won Player of the Year in Georgia for Flag Football. Her agility is off the charts. Really just scratching the surface.
