Yuna is a great all around player. She contributed well in a limited role coming back from a major knee injury. As she continues to get back to 100% and grow her confidence back on the court, she will be one of the top players in the 2024 class. Summer league play will help her gain that confidence back and be back to how she wants to be on the court.
Highlights
Makayla is a player who I’m very excited to see how much her game grew since the last season ended. She is a gritty player on the court, playing intense defense and being relentless on the defensive side. She knocks down the three very well and finds her teammates nicely. She will likely be a main option for the Storm.
Emmy is a SHOOTER. It’s that simple, she could potentially be the best shooter in the entire NWC. Last season she had the best three point shooting season in the history of the Mariners program. She hit 7 threes in one game FOUR (!!) different times. She is a great defensive player as well, averaging over 2 steals a game and having many, many deflections. She is going to show this summer that she’s more than just a shooter.

Jorja is going to benefit off summer ball given she is a freshman, entering her sophomore season. She played a lot of minutes for Nathan Hale last season and was a big contributor even as a freshman. She had 20 points in a game multiple times but what was even more impressive is her multiple performances of 10+ rebounds in a game too. She is going to have a fantastic season this year and I’m very excited to she how she does.
