Shayla’s Day 3-Peach Game Standouts Pt. 1

I had a chance to scout games at Alexander High School where a lot of the younger athletes were competing, and they put on a show from start to finish. There were players diving on the floor and the gym was electric. She is a high energy player that gets her team going. Her length allows her to rise up and score over her defenders and she is a player that sees the floor well. Her ability to stay in attack mode on both ends of the floor is what's eye catching. There was no answer for her in Game 1. She showed her ability to get to the basket and score through contact. She was able to draw a lot of fouls which led to free throw opportunities which she was automatic. Her ability to communicate to her teammates on the floor is what made her a true floor general. Always talking and bringing the energy on both sides on the ball.
