Standouts from the GBWF Unsigned Showcase PT 2

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On April 29th the Girls Basketball Worldwide Foundation hosted the first annual Unsigned Senior Showcase at Bishop Moore High School. Led by former Hornet and Florida Gator Alum Jennifer George. The event hosted 30 of the top players in Central Florida and beyond. Here is the second part of the evaluation of players from the event.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Kaiyah Gaynor</strong> 2023 5'8" SG Armwood High School</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Gaynor was playing with a high level of confidence throughout the event. Getting to the basket at will. Making very dynamic plays, using both hands, finishing at the goal. Light on her feet, she moves well on the court, knowing where to be and what is going on. A vocal player that was communicating with her teammates throughout the event, showing a level of leadership. Very active on both sides of the court. Getting offensive rebounds and put backs. Along with challenging the offensive player to take tough shots. Gordon shows an ability to handle the ball in transition, using her speed and awareness to her advantage. A team player that sets screens, communicates and shows a positive attitude that is infectious. A tough match up as she is a taller guard that can handle the basketball very well. Getting to the basket at ease and making the right play. An unselfish point guard that puts the ball on target, to the right person. She has a high level of understanding of the game and what others supposed to be doing. A floor general that is basically the assistant coach on the floor.
