I watched some of the top teams on Saturday and here were some of the standouts on the day.

We first start with the new discovered players.

Here are some fresh faces:

[player_tooltip player_id='655614' first='Saige' last='Miller'] Desert Ridge (AZ Elite Gold) (Pictured)

A power forward with a true inside out game. She has good hands to catch tough passes and go to work inside the paint. She has a soft touch and will step out and hit the three. She plays smartly off the pick and roll game and can finish with drop step moves. She will rebound and block shots.

[player_tooltip player_id='655615' first='Deven' last='Kircher'] Corona del Sol (AZ Elite Black)

A heady point guard who sees playing developing quickly. She can hit the three, she moves the ball and makes the correct reads. She has some open court speed and a tighter handle. She thinks the game and looks to lead the Aztecs.

[player_tooltip player_id='655613' first='Gosi' last='Alilonu'] Xavier Prep (AZ Elite Black)

A strong power forward who moves well in space and runs the court. She grabs out of area rebounds with her long arms and can be physical. She can score around the rim but her presence is felt on the defensive end.

[player_tooltip player_id='530981' first='Ariella' last='Goren'] Mountain Ridge (AZ Elite Gold)

A facilitating lead guard is almost a throw back type of guard. She handles pressure and will drive and kick it to a teammate and score. She can hit the catch three plus uses the floater game.

[player_tooltip player_id='655616' first='Tianna' last='Knighton'] Arcadia (AZ Elite)

A scoring guard who is a legit three point shooter. She has a strap. She can get to be a little volume but has good form and sets up quickly and lets it fly. She is a smart floor general and makes good decisions.

[player_tooltip player_id='339088' first='Alyssa' last='Harris'] Page (Run N Gun 17)

A scoring combo guard had some flashes in the game I viewed her. She can blow by her defenders with her left or right hand. She is very active on defense as she plays the passing lanes and gets on the glass. She shows good court awareness and will throw the extra pass.

[player_tooltip player_id='655631' first='Carmella' last='Gallardo'] Seton Catholic (AZ Fire 17)

A three level guard with pretty good size has a lot to like. She shoots it easily from the three point line with good ball rotation. She can hesitate and go by her defender. She uses a crossover and is a sneaky good passer to make plays.

[player_tooltip player_id='655632' first='Kierah' last='Pablo'] Hamilton (Rez Bombers)

A scoring guard with skill and defensive instincts. She has very long arms and can consistently shoot the three. She has pretty form and a quicker release. Long term she can end up being a coveted 3 and D type of guard.
