Madison Crawford Madison Crawford 5'6" | PG Mansfield Legacy | 2026 State TX -5’6 CG (Team Lex Prime 16U 3SSB) Legacy [2026]
Crawford understands something very important and that’s how to put the ball into the basket. She scores off the dribble, and finishes after contact yet her ability to create her shot with a variety of moves has always been impressive, especially when she knocks the mid to long-range down with a hand in her face. Okay, that’s been there but her “stop and pop” jumper in transition as well as her ability to “catch and shoot” has shot upwards even more, and her ability to play both the 1 and 2 stood out in a huge way
Makenzie White Makenzie White 5'7" | CG Duncanville | 2026 State TX (Team Lex Prime 16U 3SSB) Duncanville [2026]
White has the tools and many were on display during the event including creating her shot under pressure and elevating on the jumper yet she understands some things that are very important like “playing within herself” and “getting hers in the flow” yet watching the pull-up flow was nice, so was her attacking the basket off the dribble, body control was nice as were her finishes. She also did a good job defending “on the ball” baseline to baseline
Blayke Brackens (Team Lex Prime 16U 3SSB) Fairfield [2026]
Brackens had me scratching my head watching the 3A State Championship as I knew nothing about the “cousin” yet it didn’t take me long to realize what was coming. I mentioned her “poise under pressure” in both the SIMMES and Championship yet this level is totally different and guess what, it still stood out. Her defense was solid, was her jumper from mid to long-range, and has an impressive upside
Endia Stigall Endia Stigall 5'5" | PG Hays (Buda) | 2026 State TX -5’4 PG (Hoopshop 16U National) Hays [2026]
Stigall is one of the most explosive scorers in Texas, all classes, and watching her simply blow by defenders in the open court, her “speed with the ball” keeps me SMH, as well as in the set yet her #sizedontmatter hashtag is stamped in bold because she can flat out play. She drops the jumper in the set with ease, and she also can drop it in transition, I think I mentioned her “stop and pop” jumper while she was in middle school, 7th grade to be exact yet it’s one of the best in Texas period
Hope Edwards Hope Edwards 5'6" | PG Leander | 2025 State TX -5’4 CG (Hoopshop 16U National) Cedar Park [2025]
Edwards is powerful off the dribble and watching her take hard hits and complete her shot puts her into the “and one waiting to happen” category. She also does a good job setting the defender up before attacking, her deceptive first step gives her options as she also uses it to create her shot and drop it from mid to long-range
Niyah Waters Niyah Waters 5'11" | SG Hendrickson | 2025 State TX -5’10 SG (Hoopshop 16U National) Hendrickson [2025]
Waters jumper has always been wet, yet when you factor in she’s long and athletic and does a good job elevating over defenders for the jumper, as well as off the dribble but she also used it to rebound, on both ends of the court. Her defense was solid, I’m talking about “on the ball” but she also played the passing lane strongly
