The tournament featured talent from all around New England, including top 10th grade and varsity girls basketball standouts. The day was action-packed with fast-paced and skillful basketball. Below are a couple players who stood out.
Sienna Gregory
Sienna Gregory
Sienna Gregory is a spark plug for her team, bringing energy and intensity while she’s on the court. She’s a forward who can drive to the basket through contact and also connect on a jumper a bit further from the basket. Gregory has quick hands and good defensive instincts, and her intensity alone disrupts opponents’ offensive rhythm. It’s hard not to notice Gregory when she’s on the court.
Jayden Harris
Jayden Harris
Jayden Harris is a rising sophomore who brings a strong post presence to the court. Her height and athleticism allow her to contribute on both the offensive and defensive sides of the court. Also a strong rebounder and shot-blocker, Harris has a lot of upside to her game and is fun to watch. Keep an eye on her as she continues her high school hoops career.
Kara Salm
Kara Salm
Kara Salm is a scrappy guard with the height and athleticism to contribute from multiple places on the floor. She can bring the ball up the court and has great court sense that she uses to find open teammates with her strong passing abilities. Salm is also a strong rebounder and finisher close to the rim, and isn’t afraid to drive to the basket through contact.
Emily Moran
Emily Moran
Emily Moran is a tall guard who can knock it down from long range. A confident shooter with an ability to impact the game on the offensive end, Moran is also a strong defensive presence. Her height allows her to disrupt passing lanes and also hold her own defending in the paint. Moran makes a difference when she’s on the court.
