For Division 3 recruiters the rubber really hits the road at this time of year. What better time for a prospect to slip her name into the conversation as non-scholarship coaches get serious about filling their rosters for the 2024-25 season. As we do our annual summer rankings update, we're adding 10 new Class of 2024 names at the south end of the list, any or all of whom might end up playing at the D3 level before it's all said and done. Here are the 10 newcomers.

#201 [player_tooltip player_id='671966' first='O'Ciana' last='Johnson'] – At 6 feet tall with a body and frame that is nearly ideal for the game of basketball, O'Ciana has been flying under the radar until now. From Burnsville and Minnesota Stars 3SSB (Desart), the lengthy forward is a defensive weapon whose size, ability to elevate over opponents, her shot-blocking ability, and determined rebounding make her very effective down low. Offensively, Johnson has improved her mid-range game significantly and is now taking and making threes, as well. We're told O'Ciana is an excellent team player who consistently lifts the spirits of other players. This is a prospect who has the potential to raise her stock significantly as a senior.

#202 [player_tooltip player_id='671967' first='Sidney' last='Schmit'] – We love a good comeback story and the 5'7 guard from Minnesota Stars Zabel is writing a nice one. After missing her sophomore year with a torn ACL, Schmitt came back to have an outstanding season at Delano. Coach Scott Antl calls her the ‘heart and soul' of his team, a defensive dynamo who is a consistent difference-maker. Sidney led the state in steals last year with 281! Her sense of timing is fantastic. She is also an excellent passer who can spot a streaking teammate and hit her on the fly for two easy points. What coach doesn't want a spark-plug player who brings the energy, defends hard and scores while inspiring teammates to do the same?

#203 [player_tooltip player_id='671968' first='Isabel' last='Klumper'] – Basketball is a family business in Westbrook-Walnut Grove where Dave Klumper and his wife Abby are coach and assistant. Their daughter Isabelle, like her older sister Olivia was, has been a rock for the team since the family relocated from Brandon, SD. The 5'7 guard averaged 18 points per game. She is a highly skilled ball handler and a slasher who can elude defenders and finish through contact. She is also a solid outside shooter. If you are looking for a team-first guard with a high compete level who can put the ball in the basket, Klumper might be your girl.

#204 [player_tooltip player_id='671969' first='Kenadi' last='Arndt'] – The 5'11 forward from Minneota has made her presence felt with the Vikings at the high school state tournament. She's done the same with Minnesota Rise Shultz where she has been a consistent contributor on both sides of the ball. She had a nice weekend at the Lake Slam a couple of weeks ago, putting up a dozen points against both Southern Minnesota Fury and Crossfire Schuck. Arndt has nice footwork down low and finishes consistently off the glass with her left hand. That's her go-to move and it's difficult for defenders to stop even when they know it's coming. We like her length and mobility and Arndt is a quality rebounder, too.

#205 [player_tooltip player_id='671970' first='Kenley' last='Anderson'] – The 5'11 forward from Blackduck is a classic under-the-radar prospect. She lives 250 miles north of the Twin Cities so it hasn't been practical to play AAU. We've seen her online but Sunday Anderson was at the University of Minnesota ID Camp and made it obvious that she deserves D3 consideration. Long and lean, Kenley gets up and down the floor in plenty of time and finishes well in transition. She is quite opportunistic in the paint, grabs a ton of rebounds, and can finish the put-back with either hand. She's also got a nice mid-range game. Defensively Kenley is an excellent shot blocker with a great sense of timing.

#206 [player_tooltip player_id='671971' first='Kenzie' last='Visser'] – BOLD was one of the most entertaining teams at the Class A high school state tournament and the 5'11 forward was one of the biggest reasons why. In the Warriors' first game against United Christian, Visser put up 12 points and 11 rebounds. Versus Hayfield she went 8-for-11 from the field and her 18-point, 10-rebound, 8-block performance was the story of the game. She delivered relentless energy, was super aggressive, and very confident. It's not hard to figure out how she made our All-Tournament team. Kenzie has a big frame, isn't shy about being physical and can play with pace.

#207 [player_tooltip player_id='671972' first='Morgan' last='Falling'] – We first saw Morgan in February at the Breakdown Winter Lakes Classic in Alexandria where the 5'8 guard from Litchfield showed us a lot more game than we anticipated. What we saw that day, and what you'll see if you have a look at Falling's highlight videos, are two primary attributes: her three-point shooting prowess and repeating incidents of grand theft. Give Morgan a little time and space over in the corner and the ball is more than likely going in the cylinder. Handle the ball with anything less than excellence and she's likely going to get a tip or deflection or steal. Falling is also a reliable scorer in transition and rebounds well for an average-size guard.

#208 [player_tooltip player_id='671973' first='Brynlea' last='Mahlen'] – The 5'9 guard from Fosston appeared at the Minnesota AAU state tournament wearing the uniform of ND Pro out of Fargo. Playing with a team from another state can sometimes lead to players being overlooked, but not Mahlen. She sees the floor really well and gets the ball to where it needs to be while leading her high school team in assists. She averaged 12 points and 5 assists per game for the Greyhounds. With a nice mid-range game, the ability to make frequent threes and a nice scoring touch, Mahlen is a strong contributor. Defensively she anticipates well which lead to 2.3 steals per game. Brynlea also plays volleyball and softball.

#209 [player_tooltip player_id='671974' first='McKenna' last='Benck'] – The 5'6 guard from Grenada-Huntley-East Chain has nice length and a solid build with really long strides. She has good speed, can run the floor at pace, and finishes well in transition. She also shoots it really well with range that extends beyond the three-point line. McKenna is a competitor with nice versatility and a knack for scoring the basketball. She has good anticipation on defense and forces steals and turnovers. McKenna has been an All-Conference performer who's also a well-rounded student who participates in theater and student council.

#210 [player_tooltip player_id='671975' first='Breanna' last='Myers'] – The 5'6 guard from Thief River Falls first came to our attention a couple of years ago in AAU as a member of the Midwest Xplosion. Since that time, she has continued to improve and the results speak for themselves. Breanna has become physically stronger, gained valuable experience, honed her already high basketball IQ and gained the poise that comes with being a seasoned veteran. She can also shoot the heck out of the basketball. With quality mechanics, a quick release, and a nice high arc, Myers can knock ‘em down. She's also pretty crafty around the rim.
