Sinae Hill
The first step that Hill forced defenses to change how they handled her. No matter who opposing teams put in front of her, Hill found a way to beat them off the dribble and create those numerical advantages in half-court settings. Her quickness makes her challenging to defend, and the second defenses lose track of Hill, the other team will likely give up an open look somewhere on the floor. Hill is a solid distributor, and her teammates never have to yell about themselves being wide-open because they know she’ll find them.
Kinsley Ketterhagen Kinsley Ketterhagen 6'0" | PG Oostburg School District | 2028 WI
I’m unsure if anyone else had done it, but the youngest Ketterhagen may have been playing up the most age levels this weekend as a 2028 playing against 2025s. I thought earlier this AAU season, she looked like she was overwhelmed physically sometimes, but this past weekend, Ketterhagen did an excellent job playing in a way that maximized what she brought to the table. The 2028 wing used her length to make plays on the defensive end and get her shots off over and around smaller defenders. I thought she looked significantly better than she did only a few months ago. A long way to go in her development, but she’s made good strides.
Samantha Becker Samantha Becker 5'8" Cedar Rapids Washington | 2026 State IA
The Team Iowa guard finished among the leaders in scoring in her bracket, and after watching her on Sunday, it was easy to see how she racked up as many points as she did. It felt like every other defensive possession Becker got a tipped pass or a steal, which usually led to her getting easy transition baskets. I thought she affected the game well and turned defensive pressure directly into points for her team.
Sam Jacobsen Sam Jacobsen 5'10" | CG Menomonie | 2024 State WI
Few players can get to the basket and finish in Wisconsin at the level of Jacobsen. It’d been almost a year since I’d watched her play, and her ability to get to the rim was still there. However, I liked how she’s trying to get more comfortable being a wing who could score from the perimeter. Her jumper looked solid, and as soon as she gets more comfortable taking those shots, the results will come naturally.
