She can pull-up from deep or play off the ball as a catch-and-shoot sniper. Mikayla’s length helps out on the glass and as a versatile defender. She is at her best when she is mixing in drives.

Miller stands out with her length. A volleyballer to no surprise, Jalaya has a wiry frame with broad shoulders and athleticism to boot. She is capable of playing inside and out, a springy rebounder who can also knock down threes.

Ryleigh has emerged as a consistent three-point shooter. When her feet are set, she torches the defense. Murphy is a good decision maker and fits well in the flex offense, often hitting cutters for easy baskets.
Benefield moves well, providing subtle swagger with her athleticism. Jaliyah will pull-up for jumpers and has a burst of speed when attacking downhill. She elevates well when finishing at the rim.
Skye is a toolsy swingman that can do a little bit of everything. Her length allows her to defend 1-4. She runs the floor in transition and is a threat to pop teams from the mid-range. Her move from Landmark Christian is a major boon for Creekside.

In from Wesleyan, Desiree Davis Desiree Davis 5’11” | PF Newton | 2025 State GA provides Newton with a matchup nightmare. Desi has the strength to bully opponents on the block and the skill to create on the perimeter. Davis can shoot the three, but is at her best when getting to the rack using deft footwork and a soft touch. When needed, Davis can set the tone inside as a rugged rebounder. Expect a breakout season and for Newton to blow past their three-win mark and contend for a state playoff bid.
The big guard made an impact by scoring from different spots and pounding the glass. She double-doubled with 15 points, 11 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal in a 34-28 win over Morgan County. Indigo scored with floaters, drives, a mid-range jumper and a three-pointer.
Gracyen got going in the second half, finishing with 12 points, 10 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and 2 blocks in a 38-37 loss to Lambert. Ehlen’s stat line properly displays how good she is. She affects games in all ways imaginable. With her physicality and size on the perimeter, she’s a mismatch when overpowering her way to the bucket. Ehlen’s versatility is a calling card.
The 5-foot-10 wing can stroke it from deep. She nailed 3 threes against Walton, hitting two from the corners and pulling up off the dribble for her last. Kenzie is a prospect trending in the right direction. She is getting even better with the ball in her hands. Her effectiveness extends to the defensive side of the floor, using her length to grab rebounds and help defend different spots.
