Continue ReadingMackenny stood out with her consistency. She converted layups with both hands, attacked off the dribble from 15-feet and could sink the mid-range jumper. Claire’s size and inside-out offensive game will benefit the Trojans.
Taryn Thompson Taryn Thompson 5’9″ | CG Galloway | 2026 State GA continues to separate herself as one of the best shooters in Georgia’s 2026 class. Her catch-and-shoot game spaces the floor for the Scots. She can get to her spots off the dribble and is getting more consistent as a slasher. Taryn’s IQ is apparent as well, passing up good shots for great shots.
Georgia Southern has already offered the lightning-fast sophomore. Camryn’s speed is on another level, bringing jitterbug quickness on both ends of the floor. She is a major pest when defending on-ball and can swoop in to steal passes in the press. On offense, it’s Golston’s three-point shooting that shines. If teams over pursue on closeouts, she blows by for layups.
Highlights
The size and strength of Moore gives Calhoun a rock-solid option inside. Jaylan keeps things simple on offense, scoring on dump offs and putbacks. She scores in traffic and can rebound in a crowd. Jaylan uses her height to her advantage on defense blocking shots.
You can’t teach size. Hailey has plenty of it. Wortmann is a little raw, but she knows how to rebound and draws fouls. Quickening her decision making and elevating to finish will help. Her best basketball is ahead of her.
Kerri is a crafty playmaker that has the ball on a string. She reminds me a little bit of Michaela Bogans with how she is able to get to her spots with her speed and hit the pull-up. The Class 2A Freshman of the Year is one of the most talented players in the CSRA.
Georgia Southern offered Grant last November. Trinity has elite size. I liked how she was able to keep the ball high around the basket and blocked shots. Grant is going to get better and better as her career moves on. Her high academics will open even more doors.

With a couple starters out with injury, Saniya Binion Saniya Binion 5’10” | SG Campbell | 2026 State GA carried the load on offense. The wiry slasher has endless amounts of energy. She lived in the paint, attacking off the dribble and relentlessly pursuing rebounds. Saniya is a difference maker on defense with her length and ability to help guard every spot on the floor.
Cartersville has a great showing at camp, going 4-0. KK supplied aggressive on-ball defense and helped pick up the tempo in transition. Arnold did a nice job coming down to rebound and facilitated well in the halfcourt. KK found offense on drives to the basket, often drawing fouls.
Reagan is a mismatch. Listed at around 5-foot-8, she plays way bigger with her strong frame. She is able to clear out space with the ball, keeping defenders at a distance when using her shoulders. Hicks scored on drop steps and was nimble enough to clear rebounds and go coast-to-coast.
Macon made a major impact in Hillgrove’s 38-34 win over Grayson, collecting 19 points and 6 rebounds. She converted everything at the rim and earned multiple second chance opportunities. Aeris has a knack for being at the right place at the right time.
