Addison Ely, 5’6 G – St. Johnsbury Academy Class of 2026
A young guard with great senses on the floor, Addison impacted winning in a number of ways. On the offensive end, Ely consistently made the right play, whether that was swinging the ball to the weak side, attacking a closeout and making a play inside, or hitting a lead pass in transition. Moreover, her defensive chops were all there. Aggressive on the ball, attacking 50/50s, and rotating to shrink the floor. Excellent work.
Kaitlyn Jovell Kaitlyn Jovell 5'8" | SG Champlain Valley | 2025 State New E , 5’8 G – Champlain Valley Union H.S. Class of 2025
Jovell is coming into her own. Kaitlyn played behind numerous savvy guards this past winter, but with a few seniors graduated, space is opening. She took advantage of that space and sharpened her tools with an increase in her facilitation and scoring load. Jovell found shots with her off-ball movement and with the rock in her hands she made smart, quick decisions. A hardnosed defender too, Kaitlyn made opponents feel her presence on the defensive side of the ball. She’s coming along.
Alana Crittenden Alana Crittenden 5'7" | CG Lamoille Union | 2026 State New E , 5’8 G – Lamoille Union H.S. Class of 2026
A lot of players today fall in love with the 3, not Alana; Crittenden balanced her attack quite well. She made intuitive reads off the ball, cutting into defensive gaps and straight into the paint for easy buckets and dimes as the defense collapsed, and took the open 3 when it came. In addition, she put in work out of the fullcourt pressure and showed solid rotations in the run and jump. Alana’s two-way athleticism and IQ shined through.
Neveah Parrish Neveah Parrish 5'5" | PG Champlain Valley | 2024 State New E , 5’5 G – Champlain Valley Union H.S. Class of 2024
Neveah, too, saw an increased role over the weekend, and she looked primed to tackle it. Parrish orchestrated the offense with solid communication and play-calling. Plus, she pushed in transition, put pressure on the defense, and every shot she took was within the flow of the offense. Her defensive work was scrappy as she applied pressure and sought to get out in transition. She’s certainly a natural at the 1.
Emma Greenan Emma Greenan 5'11" | PF St. Johnsbury | 2024 State New E , 5’10 F – St. Johnsbury Academy Class of 2024
Greenan was up to her usual shenanigans. Emma’s interior work is flush with physicality when battling for boards and preventing post players from getting to their spot. Additionally, she protected the rim rather well and made quick outlets for fastbreak opportunities. On the offensive end, Greenan established an inside presence with her post work and hustle for second chance points. Her mid to short-range J didn’t make much of an appearance, but I know it’s there.
Faith McAllister, 5’10 W – Vergennes Union H.S. Class of 2026
Faith was at the head of VUHS’ 1-2-2 zone, and with her size and length she made life tough in the halfcourt. She applied pressure and corralled ballhandlers to the sideline. Whenever the ball found its way to the high post, she showed nice instincts to drop down and dig. Offensively she’s still a bit raw, but with her size and athleticism, I see her being a dynamic two-way player if she sharpens her tools. Intriguing.
Alyssa Small, 5’9 G/W – Lamoille Union H.S. Class of 2026
With her guard skillset and sizable frame, Alyssa’s versatility was on display. Small showed nice instincts with the rock in her hands as she attacked closeouts and made simple reads, hitting cutters and spot-up shooters on drives. Moreover, she showed her strength inside as a finisher. Dynamic as a defender, Alyssa worked well in the press, covered the perimeter, and helped out down low as a rebounder. Alyssa showed off her unique game.
