Giselle has great length and uses that length to her advantage inside. She is very active on the glass for Team Sharp. She is continually moving to space to get her hands on the ball and keep possessions alive. When she gets the ball inside, she powers it up and is a strong finisher. She shows good athleticism getting out in transition and works hard on the defensive end in rotations and contesting shooters. Giselle was the 3rd leading scorer and rebounder for a Bayonne HS team that wont the Group 4 State Championship last season. With a great group of returning players Giselle be a big part of a Bees team looking to repeat as State Champs.
Ava is part of the 3 headed monster that leads the way for the Jersey Gemz 15u EYBL along with Lexi Carnegie Lexi Carnegie 5’9″ | SF Teaneck | 2026 State NJ and Stella Lockhart Stella Lockhart 6’1″ | CG St. John Vianney | 2026 State NJ . Ava runs the point and controls the tempo. That tempo is fast. Ava gets up and down the court and is at her best attacking the hoop and initiating contact to create space at the rim. Ava’s other best asset is her ability to take her 5’7″ frame inside amongst the trees and come down with a ton of rebounds especially on the offensive end. She averaged 5+rpg as a freshman at Rutgers Prep HS and had 5 games of 10+ rebounds. She has a strong handle and a strong mid-range jumper and defensively she is always looking for steals. Ava will look to contribute even more in her sophomore year for a loaded Argonauts team.
Stella’s game continues to evolve. She is not all about using her size and strength to bully her way inside anymore. She has developed a smooth jumper out to the 3-point line, and she can use the bounce to create space on the perimeter. Stella is a patient player in the post and when the doubles come, she passes out of it very well. She is an absolute force on the boards for Jersey Gemz 15u EYBL. Defensively, her improved footwork allows her to stay in front of ball handlers on the perimeter and she still has the strength to move people off their spots on the interior. Along with Lexi Carnegie Lexi Carnegie 5’9″ | SF Teaneck | 2026 State NJ and Ava LaMonica Ava LaMonica 5’9″ | PG Rutgers Prep | 2026 State NJ , they lead this team in so many ways. She will be part of the St. John Vianney HS reload after a freshman season at Gil St. Bernards HS.
Highlights
Smooth is the best way to describe Lexi’s game. Whether the game is up tempo or extremely physical, Lexi finds a way to do what she does best for the Jersey Gemz 15u EYBL. When she gets the ball on the wing, she has a lightning quick first step and when she gets to the baseline, she has the length and the bounce to finish over you inside. She can shoot the 3 with confidence and when she gets out in transition you are not catching up to her. Defensively, she is so quick that not many people can get by her consistently. With her active hands and long arms, she gets a lot of deflections and off the ball she anticipates the skips and takes them the other way. She did a lot of everything for Teaneck HS averaging 15+ppg, 7+rpg, 3+spg and 3+apg as a freshman leading them to a North 1 Group 3 Sectional title. Lexi will blow past 1,000 points at Teaneck and has a good chance at 1,000+ rebounds as well.
