You can’t coach height, but you can develop skill and that’s what it looks like happened with this post. Mims has displayed solid footwork and the ability to finish around the rim. She can block shots and make players miss with her middle presence. Mims in these summer league games have gotten better by the week. She is demanding double teams creating for her teammates. Mims does a good job getting up and down the floor. This young lady has taken advantage of summer work and will be a force in the area when winter calls!
Dakota Porter 5’6, guard, 2026
Porter is a physical guard that can defend. Dakota is stepping into a bigger role with her team as they are going to need more from the way they do things and now versus before and with graduation from some seniors she is looking for a stellar year. Dakota has a great work ethic and she can get to the basket with a good burst of quickness that allows her to finish at the rim. I love this kids passion for the game.
Tatiana Mason Tatiana Mason 5'10" | CG Brush | 2027 State OH 5’10, Guard, 2027
Mason is a multi-level scorer that can plug into all positions with the ability to play the perimeter and using her size advantage against smaller defenders. She does not play like it’s her first rodeo against older girls. Mason can score on all three levels finishing through traffic and has a great work ethic throughout the course of the summer league weeks. This young lady is one of the best players in her class.
Chaniyra Isaacs 5’5, PG, 2027
Chaniyra is not your typical incoming freshman playing in this summer league like she has been on the varsity level before. A floor general that plays 94 feet and displays impressive playmaking for herself as well as her teammates. Chaniyra has two offers coming in as a freshman and her abilities prove that she’s a big-time future player ready for big-time moments. This is a top-five PG in her class and she is not five!
De’Oshania Bennett 5’6, guard, 2024
Bennett is set for her final year in high school and she has displayed the ability to make plays. This young lady has what it takes to play at the next level. Bennett can score, she is tough on the defensive end and she’s a player that creates for herself as well as others that are around her.
