I had the chance to cover an evening at the summer league in Versailles which included Arcanum, Bellefontaine, Covington, Piqua, Versailles, Fort Loramie, St. Marys and Tri Village. I did not get to see St. Mary's and just wrote about Fort Loramie a few days before. Here are some of the other underclassmen I thought had a good day in the league. Check out the upperclassmen who stood out later this weekend.

Faith Wooten, 5-11 2026, Arcanum

She's a little raw yet but does a nice job staying after the ball close to the rim. Good rebounder. I do like her desire to improve and her work ethic as she does a nice job staying after the ball. In her conference she could be a factor in the paint as her game continues to grow.

Avery Koffer, 5-7 2026, Covington

Only a sophomore, I was impressed with her overall game as soon as I saw her hit the court. She has good command of the game. Quick hands and solid on-ball defense. Court vision is very good, quick and athletic. Has that swag which I think will lead her to becoming a very consistent player for the Buccs this season. She will continue to develop her game and be a factor!

Sydnee DeLong, 5-7 2026, Tri Village

The year she spent in the starting lineup as a freshman on a state championship team was invaluable. Her confidence is solid and her production will increase this season. She has an excellent shot and is not afraid to let it fly. Good handles and is becoming a solid leader.

[player_tooltip player_id='538123' first='Kynnedi' last='Hager'], 6-3 2026, Tri Village

She made some good waves last season as she learned the varsity game. She is strong inside and is continuing to develop as a prospect at the post position. Good rebounder and can get the ball out. Continues to work on her consistency which will make her tougher to defend. You can't teach 6'3 but you can develop her.

[player_tooltip player_id='537683' first='Katey' last='Litten'], 5-7 2026, Versailles

She made a huge jump from day one of last season all the way into the regionals. She has good ball control and court vision enabling her to get the ball to the right spot. Can push downhill and score at the rim and is continuing to work on her game. Showing a lot of leadership. Good handles.
