6A
Olivia Robben Olivia Robben 6'5" | C Olathe South | 2025 State KS , 6’5″, C, Olathe South – The top debuter in the class, Robben is someone I have been watching for a good year and a half. Not until the spring have I gotten a overall sense of where she is and what she can develop into. Hence the delay in her debut in the rankings. With a couple college offers showing up recently, clearly colleges are gaining a sense of where her game can go as well. What I have always enjoyed seeing is her effort and her movement. She has terrific, legitimate center size and doing those two little things are wildly impactful. Robben is a well spoken, solid IQ player with good hands. As her athleticism; strength; and face-up/back-to-basket games continue to mature do not expect her to remain outside the top 25 long.
Rylan Chandler Rylan Chandler 5'7" | PG Wichita East | 2025 State KS , 5’9″, PG/SG, Wichita East – A part of the strong Blue Aces back court that eliminated Wichita Heights before falling to Derby in a sub-state final a season ago, Chandler earned Greater Wichita Activities League Honorable Mention honors and is poised to show her growing game in 2024. A legitimate perimeter shooter who cannot be given clean looks, Chandler also uses her quick hands and athleticism to generate turnovers from both on-ball and off-ball situations. In 2023 she averaged 3.3 steals and 4.6 assists. With her size, quickness, and hand speed at the point position she is a two-way problem for every team.
Ajala Glover Ajala Glover 5'10" | SF Lawrence | 2025 KS , 6’0″, PF/SF, Lawrence – The look of the Chesty Lions will be a bit different this season given the loss of the legitimate-sized center, 6’3″ who is off to D III Bryn Mawr to forge a medical career. “Aja” often would spell her in the middle and play along side at the PF spot while also playing some three. She likely will start at either post position. What she brings to a ferocious full-court defensive game is length, size, and hustle. A high potential player who blocks shots and rebounds. If her skills, , including defensive footwork and balance, sharpen to catch up with her physical abilities not only will she gain more collegiate attention but she will be a key element to Lawrence’s return run to the 6A tournament.
Maliyah Lansang Maliyah Lansang 5'6" | CG Derby | 2025 State KS , 5’5″, CG, Derby – Despite the log-jam at guard, led by all-state point Destiny Smith Destiny Smith 5'7" | CG Derby | 2024 State KS , Lansang will be looking to break out. Leadership is characteristic coach Kim Carbonell tells me she excels in. She also also is a smart defender who likely led the team in caused held balls due to getting on teh floor so often.

Leah Littlejohn Leah Littlejohn 6'0" | SF Bishop Carroll | 2025 State KS , 6’0″, SF, Bishop Carroll – Littlejohn has had a break-out summer playing with Life Prep and coach Jeff Henry. She seems to have identified some areas of strength, showing confidence in her shot selection and interior passing. She has excelled as a perimeter shooter and as an assist generator working within 12′ feet. Long with a thinish build, she has decent quicks, good hands, and transition speed. She runs the pick-and-roll game well from either side of the equation.
Anna Duncan Anna Duncan 5'11" | SF Valley Center | 2025 State KS , 5’11”, SF, Valley Center – Valley Center will have a different look this season after being led by a dominant guard this past season. Duncan, and her 6’3″ wing span, will be a big part of that look. She runs the floor well, rebounds and clears boards well, and has a do a little bit of everything well type of game. A shot-blocker to be aware of.
Mia Coleman Mia Coleman 5'4" | SG Newton | 2025 State KS , 5’4″, SG, Newton – Coleman is a quick guard with a growing all-around game that draws from her quickness. Occasionally running the point as well, she has solid vision and strength to hit teammates on the fly in transition and hit open teammates on the wing. She also solid quickness to defend on the perimeter.
Kaia Smith Kaia Smith 6'1" | SF Hutchinson | 2025 State KS , 6’0″, SF, Hutchinson – Smith is a young, raw talent that is a terrific perimeter shooter. With her speed, length, and athleticism she most of her looks are clean ones. She has a long way to go with game feel and skills but she has a very, very high ceiling. Better watch out for this one.
Taylin Tabor Taylin Tabor 5'6" | CG Andover Central | 2025 State KS , 5’6″, CG, Andover Central – I expect Tabor to have a breakout season. My why debuts back to game 1 of last season against rival Maize South. Eagles PG Amani Lipscomb Amani Lipscomb 5'2" | PG Houston | 2024 State TN was having her way with every Jaguar guard until the last guard on the bench, Tabor, got a shot at her. The results were immediate. While not the talent Lipscomb is Tabor physically matched up with her well. Just as quick, quick hands, and four inches taller. She proved to be immediately disruptive to the flow of the game not just because of her work against Lipscomb but also with her consistent ability to jump to the ball rebounding; scoring off the slash and catch; and showing off a scorer’s mentality.

Kierslynn Waggoner Kierslynn Waggoner 5'8" | PG Arkansas City | 2025 State KS , 5’9″, PG/SG, Arkansas City – Waggoner is big part of the resurgent Arkansas City team I was telling everybody was coming more than a year ago. She does a lot of things well that you want to see out of a point guard: Speed with the ball, finish through pressure and with athleticism, and the ability to make quick but catchable entry passes where post players want the ball. She is also a good perimeter shooter who shoots it with range.
Charley Baxter Charley Baxter 5'8" | SG Buhler | 2025 State KS , 5’8″, CG/SF, Buhler – In a lot of ways Baxter is a tweener on the floor. She will play all guard spots and the power forward position when needed. She has a solid, strong build who elevates well on dribble-up jumpers. She also has baseline ability with a tendency to go left too often. On a team packed with developing, young talent Baxter takes her turn as the best player on the floor depending upon who the Crusaders are matched up with. I expect Baxter and company to continue their improvement and beat some teams that will not be expecting such a challenge.
