Tatum is a rebounding machine, especially in the 1st half of this one. She goes to the glass hard and came up with some big ones. She is also capable of scoring inside once she gets the ball. An athletic player with the versatility to grab and go. She doesn’t do it a lot but at times she even brought the ball up the floor looking like a point guard. She stood out for her presence inside. I had her for 14 points with a bunch of rebounds.
Sofia is a tough and hard nosed player on both sides of the ball. She gets most of her baskets with strong drives to the hoop. She also can create havoc on defense with her side to side speed and quickness. I’m not sure I have ever seen her miss a free throw and she gets to the line a lot. I would imagine she will put up a lot of double doubles as well with her drive to get loose balls and rebounds. She and Wood are a great inside – out combo. I had her for 16 points in the win along with several steals and rebounds.

Darcy is the point guard for Eastlake. She is a steady one who takes care of the ball and can knock down shots from three. She had at least 3 triples and finished with 12 points unofficially. She can be a great weapon getting those open looks on kickouts. She has good quickness on defense as well. An important piece of Eastlake’s defense of the 4A state championship next season.
Krista Kristoff Krista Kristoff 6'0" | SF Eastlake | 2024 State WA
Krista Kristoff Krista Kristoff 6'0" | SF Eastlake | 2024 State WA
Eastlake is a long team on the perimeter with Kristoff and Denise Gainer playing small forward type roles. Krista does a lot of the dirty work with her rebounding and length. She came up with a couple big rebounds towards the end of the game. She gets baskets in the paint and both have a nice touch from mid-range. The length can cause problems for opposing backcourts, although Mia Broom Mia Broom 5’8″ | CG Lakeside | 2024 State WA handled it well.
Mia was impressive finishing with at least 25 points. She is also the point guard and a great one. She is a skilled offensive player who can hit step back jumpers and set up her own shot off the dribble. She has a tight handle and rarely makes many mistakes. Her floor vision is excellent and she showed it with a couple beautiful passes in the lane. With Claire O’Connor gone, it’s clearly Mia’s team.
Liana Brown
Liana Brown
Liana is one of three players for Lakeside capable of handling some of the point guard position when Broom is not. She played well with 9 points unofficially, including a couple of threes. A solid ball handling guard who can make shots. She is only going to be a sophomore, so plenty of room for growth.
Willa is the other who can play anywhere from point guard to small forward. She handles the ball with poise and attacks the basket well. She picks her spots and breaks down the defense. She is long enough to score in the paint by shooting over other guards and versatile enough to get baskets from all levels. She has a really nice touch from mid-range.

She did a nice job off the bench for Lakeside providing some rebounding and getting a couple easy baskets at the rim with her size and athleticism.
