Wood provided a nice balance of shooting and physicality against Emerald Ridge. She’s someone who’s willing to bang inside for tough buckets and rebounds, but she was also a threat outside the paint and provided some consistent shooting from midrange out to three. She doesn’t have intimidating size but was still a tone-setter with her toughness around the hoop.

If you don’t know this name yet, you soon will. She sat with injury last year during Eastlake’s tite run. She gives them an active three who can play inside and out. She can do it all. She can shoot it from three with a pure shot. She is great at getting into the lane with strength and speed to finish around the rim. She’s skilled with good size and her athletic ability stands out. She can play and guard any position on the floor. She is an all-state prospect who will be getting a lot of looks. Eastlake will be right there again for the post-season run at defense of their 4A title.

Here’s your help. Tatum is back after missing last season with an injury. Pencil her in as a played-of-the-year candidate as well. She is valuable as a scorer from all levels, an athletic rebounding player who can play anywhere on the floor. She is multi-talented on offense. She has a great shooting stroke beyond the arc and does lots of damage taking it to the basket. She is tough and plays bigger than she is. She had a great off-season in AAU ball.

#12 – Easy choice after you watch her play. She impacts the game in a lot of ways. She is an excellent rebounder. She has a nice shooting touch that expands beyond the three point line. She is tough and not afraid to mix it up in the paint. She is a great athlete with a multitude of skills to go with it. I was really impressed with how she impacts the game. She’ll, is also an all level scorer. I would expect big things from her this season for the defending 4A champion.

Tatum is showing just how good she is when fully healthy. She is an exceptional rebounder, with grab and go ability. She can score on all levels, and uses every bit of her size. She has great shot mechanics and shoots it well from three with a quick release. She is strong and athletic and uses that to get to the basket, scoring around the rim. She runs the floor, defends multiple positions , and plays harder than most. She will be a huge part of Eastlake’s quest to defend their class 4A title. She has all state type talent.

Tatum has had a very good summer. She has been showing improvements on both sides of the ball, having a more well rounded offensive game and better lateral movement on defense to help stay in front of the ball handler. She plays with a lot of energy on the court and it translates very well. She is going to have a huge season for Eastlake and should see herself ranked soon.

Tatum plays hard. She is an athletic player who uses every bit of her 5’10 frame. She rebounds at a high level. She can score from all levels, either putting it on the floor from the high post and beyond, or hitting threes. She has great shot mechanics, and picks her spots and goes hard. I love the effort. She got to the free throw line and made most. She can literally play any position on the floor and play it well. She gives maximum effort but I would not call her a role player, she has been one of the best players on the floor in three games I watched in the last week. Playing with two different teams.

Tatum is a rebounding machine, especially in the 1st half of this one. She goes to the glass hard and came up with some big ones. She is also capable of scoring inside once she gets the ball. An athletic player with the versatility to grab and go. She doesn’t do it a lot but at times she even brought the ball up the floor looking like a point guard. She stood out for her presence inside. I had her for 14 points with a bunch of rebounds.

Tatum should be back with a vengeance next season. She is versatile and tough on the defensive end. She can really defend, and rebounds extremely well. She can be a grab and go rebounder with good enough ball handling skills to create in the open floor. She has the ability to change games in a lot of ways. Breakout potential in a big way next season.

Tatum is the type of player you want on your team. She does the little things and does them well. She plays with intensity on defense and creates steals. She rebounds and can get you tough buckets in the paint. She is also a grab and go player who is capable of taking it herself. She is a glue type player with skills to go with it. She was a 2nd team all state tournament pick last season.
