DYNAMIC DUOS
Rylie Burley Rylie Burley 5'6" | PG Leslie | 2025 State MI and Lily Smieska- Leslie
Burley is a high IQ player that influences the game on both ends. She’s become a dynamic scorer that will make waves this coming high school season. Burley really has a solid all around game.

Lily Smieska
Smieska has had a solid spring and summer and that continued in the East Jackson Summer League. She has good footwork on both ends and can change direction quickly and easily.
Maddox Overwegg and Brenna Crittendan- Springport
Overweg is a high level talent that was a matchup nightmare throughout the summer league. She’s just really tough to match when it comes to her strength, athleticism and playmaking abilities.
Crittenden was an all conference player last year and looked even more improved as a player this month. She has solid straight line speed and can get up and down the floor.
McKynley Gaddy and Julia Reynolds- Michigan Center

McKynley Gaddy
Gaddy is a freshman that has the opportunity to make a lot of noise, not just next year, but the next 4 years. She’s a very high IQ player that made good decisions with the ball throughout the summer league.
Julia Reynolds
Julia Reynolds
Reynolds will team up with Gaddy to make one of the more formidable backcourts around. She was a difference maker on the defensive end in the summer league and was exceptionally steady offensively.
Priya Mericle Priya Mericle 5'7" | CG East Jackson | 2025 State MI and Mariah Kerley Mariah Kerley 5'9" | SF East Jackson | 2025 State MI – East Jackson
If you like hard nosed defense, Mericle was, and always has been, a player to watch. She takes pride in her defense and is always willing to go nose-to-nose with the top perimeter offensive threat.
Highlights
Kerley showed off one of the most improved offensive games in the Jackson area, and probably the state of Michigan as a whole. She’s dynamic on that end and can take and make big shots.
NOTABLE PLAYERS
Allison O’Dowd
Allison O’Dowd
O’Dowd definitely put her name on the map with her play in June. She shot the ball well and when the defense stepped out, she showed she could put the ball on the floor and attack.
Mitchell looks like she really put her game together over the last year. She turned solid athleticism into elite playmaking on the wing. Mitchell showed in summer league that she’ll be a force to be reckoned with.
Aralyn Tripp
Aralyn Tripp
Tripp will be a difference maker. She’s an experienced player that plays like a veteran. Tripp reads the ball off the rim and rebounds well.
DeRose has made great strides in her game and it showed over the course of summer league. She’s going to be a high quality backcourt player that scores and distributes.
Kennedy Goodwin
Kennedy Goodwin
Goodwin really looked like a player to watch as high school season approaches. She’s a versatile forward that rebounds the ball.
Kathleen Doane
Kathleen Doane
Doane is a talented player that could really make some noise this year. She can run the floor and builds up speed in a hurry.
Broken record time – Possibly the most underrated lead guard in the state. Freshcorn will be a steal for a program at the next level.
