EOT Summer Swoosh – 2024s – Part 3

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Here some girls that stood out to us as we watched them play this past weekend, this tournament was held in Seal Beach, California at the AIM Sportsplex. These girls showed us they can play and are worthy of garnering some type of scholarship to play college basketball on a big stage. Coaches were in attendance and they watched as well as these girls played hard for the scouts in the building watching. Here is a list of 2024s that stood out to us as we watched, evaluations are below...</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2024, 5'7, CG, Meadowdale HS (WA), [player_tooltip player_id='649102' first='Gia' last='Powell']</strong> - good guard with a nice lanky body, she could run the floor and finish as well as sit down and defend. She has a nice pull up at the midrange and is one of the teams playmakers. Can also hit the three pointer as well.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2024, 5'7, PG, Chaminade HS (CA), [player_tooltip player_id='756869' first='Natalie' last='Patrick']</strong> - shaky crafty guard type, lanky athletic body that has some swag to her game. She has nice handles and could get to anywhere on the court with ease off the dribble. She also showed us that she can drive to the rim and bang with the post to get to the line.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2024, 5'4, PG, Orange Lutheran HS (CA), [player_tooltip player_id='167342' first='Shea' last='Joko']</strong> - point guard with solid IQ , she makes solid decisions with the ball and is quite the defender as well. Has some handle and does not turnover the ball. Shows a nice midrange jumper off the dribble to display her skill set as well as a three point shot, she did not take many of them this time watching her, but she can make those shots in our opinion.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2024, 5'7, SG, Valencia HS (CA), [player_tooltip player_id='756871' first='Libertine' last='Oxciano']</strong> - nice guard type that can really flourish in the open court, witness her rebound the ball and push the break and make simple floaters off the glass in traffic with ease. She is very good attacking the rim and making difficult shots off the glass, love the retro skills.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
