Woods has shown out all summer and that has continued this weekend. The Goonies guard has been electric with the ball in her hands. She’s explosive offensively, but in such a controlled manner that it makes her game so efficient. Woods has been in double digits scoring every game in Orlando.
Grech and the Michigan Lady Playmakers were at the PGH 2K23 event. Grech left her mark. Any college coach that is looking for toughness, rebounding and defense should have an interest in what she did at 2K23. Grech caused some chaos in the paint with her quick hands and she was a magnet to the ball off the rim.
Freshcorn is fresh off an impressive weekend of hoops. I’ve written over and over again about her skills and how I feel like they transfer to the next level. But Freshcorn carries that ‘it factor’ and all the whispers say that she was showing it off this weekend. Freshcorn effectively created for herself as well as her teammates. She’s a leader that will benefit any college program.

Indya Davis Indya Davis 5’9″ | SG West Bloomfield | 2024 State MI continued a memorable grassroots season at the GUAA Finals. Davis seemed like she scored every way but sideways. She finished and scored off both 1 foot and 2 feet. Davis buried jumpers from both mid range and behind the arc while showing that she was a shooting threat off the catch and off the bounce.
BNB’s Holman basically grabbed the scorers sheet this weekend at the Prep Girls Hoops 2K23 and put her name all over it. Think a game with 7 points, 7 rebounds and 7 steals is good? How about a 13 point and 11 rebound game? Think you’re impressed now, just wait. Let’s add a near triple-double with 16 points, 10 rebounds and 8 steals.
Baker has been absolutely stellar this spring and summer. In all honesty, it’s become so normal for her to be great, that I think it gets overlooked at times. Well Baker showed out once again at the UAA Finals. Her jumper and overall ability to score are simply next level. Baker can snap off a jumper that’s so tough to defend, going from shooting pocket to bottom of the net before a defender can challenge it.

The BNB 16u team had themselves a weekend at the PGH 2K23! There’s no doubt that Stevenson was a huge part of the 4-0 team record. If I’m reading my notes right, it looks like she averaged a 21 spot per game at the event. Regardless of numbers, she was feeling her shot all weekend and proved that she could be a difference maker.
