Macy Comito makes great reads with and without the ball in her hands. Additionally, she moves well without the ball and can be any type of guard coaches need at the next level. That can be a pass first guard or someone who can attack both ways and be aggressive. Equally important, she’s able to finish with both hands around the rim. She doesn’t miss very much off the catch and can also shoot off the dribble. Her floor vision is something that separates her from most guards. To summarize, she sees the next play before it happens and her passing ability is spot on. Macy made winning plays all weekend!
Jayla Williams Jayla Williams 5’10” | CG Ankeny | 2026 State IA is a combo guard who impacts the game on both sides of the floor. She outworks every player! Her ability to play in transition is unmatched. Additionally, being an athletic player with great ball handling opens up easy offense for her teammates. Jayla plays above the rim and is a strong finisher around the basket. Her shooting ability gives her the advantage to stretch the floor and forces defenders to guard above the 3 point line. What coaches love to see is her ability to guard the best player in the full court!
Maryze Szalo is a guard who can play multiple positions and isn’t afraid of contact on both sides of the floor. Her ability to play off the dribble with a quick first step creates easy offense. She knows how to use her size an plays smart off two feet around the basket. Maryne has a nice shooting range and makes good decisions with the ball. Going into her sophomore year in high1 school, she’s improved a lot over the summer. Make sure to keep an eye on her as she continues to get getter all around
Highlights
Ellie is a player who draws so much attention on the offensive side. She finishes great around the basket and has good footwork. This player is able to guard multiple positions defensively and has great timing when it comes to blocking shots. She rebounds on both sides and makes her presence on the floor known. Ellie made an immediate impact in every game! Finally, she is a player her teammates look for to get their offense started and to protect the paint defensively.
