Avery Yosten Avery Yosten 6’1″ | SF Norfolk Catholic | 2024 State NE is going to put together a high school season this year to remember. Returning after injury, Yosten the 6’2 power forward, is a talent that is going to be a steal at the college level. She has many offensive moves in her “bag”, while being able to get stops on the defensive end and score with any mismatch in her favor. She possesses a good amount of physicality and does a great job of letting the game come to her. On top of all that, she displays a great attitude. When things get tough she understands to put her head down and push through adversity with her teammates. In the end, it’ll all work out. Yosten has size, smarts and skill. As of most recent she has received a D1 offer from Sacramento State. I expect interest like this to grow significantly moving into her senior season but we will just have to wait and see.
Addison Sullivan Addison Sullivan 6’1″ | CG Blair | 2025 State NE will jump into her junior season after putting together a great AAU campaign with her Nebraska Attack UAA program. Sullivan, is a lengthy combo guard/small forward with the mix of size and movement she possesses. She moves well off of the ball while being extremely efficient in the paint. Whenever she drives to the hoop she is always ready to pull out a counter move if her opponent were to cut her off, while finishing the play off of two feet at the rim a majority of the time. I expect some more big numbers from Sullivan this high school season. She has the ability to have some really great games as long as she stays dedicated and keeps on working on her craft.

I’m not going to lie about it. I don’t know too much about Sloany Flott as a player. What I do know is that Flott is a smaller combo guard, in the respects that she could play the 1 or the 2, for whatever team she is lacing up with. Flott is a righty with solid form and a balanced base when she catches to shoot, especially from deep. This winter I will be able to see Flott play live and that will help me truly understand where she is ranked within this 2026 class in the state of Nebraska. From what I’ve heard though, she is going to be a constant contributor at the varsity level over the next few seasons.

Maryn Franken Maryn Franken 6’0″ | SF Sioux Center | 2027 State IA comes into this article as one of those players that competes for an AAU program on the border of Iowa and Nebraska, while going to high school in Iowa at Sioux Center. Franken is going to come into this high school season and make her mark. She has had a nice spring leading into this summer and I expect more of the same moving forward. She displays good length and size while having the ability to stretch the floor at any given moment. This ETG Midwest program is one that does things the right way. They have coaches, parents, and athletes who care about the game and it shows on every level. I’m excited to see what they can do throughout all age groups moving forward. As for Franken, she is going to have her time to shine at Sioux Center and I’m sure she is going to make the most of it.

Jordyn Rohlfsen Jordyn Rohlfsen CG Roncalli | 2025 State NE didn’t see the floor a whole lot last year at the varsity level but when she did, she made the most of it. Rohlfsen is a 5’8 shooting guard, who excels at the catch and shoot aspect of the game, while being a stubborn defender against her competition. She possesses active hands leading to several tips and defections each contest. On top of that, she can hold her own in the physicality department when need be. This season I think that Rohlfsen is going to get more of a chance to show what she can do with the opportunities she receives. If she just keeps calm and lets the game come to her, she is going to be just fine when this winter season approaches.
