Yosten, a 6’2 forward, is a player with a high motor on the court and a solid game around the basket. She moves quickly up and down the floor, while understanding how to beat her opponents to their spots on both offense and defense. As I have said before Yosten is going to have a season to remember this high school year. Accompanied with that, she is going to continue to pick up offers from some prestigious colleges out there in the meantime. A player like this is a steal at the college level. Someone who can come in and produce when it comes to rebounding, and efficiency near the rim. A lot of positives here with Yosten and her game moving forward.

Returning after injury, Yosten the 6’2 power forward, is a talent that is going to be a steal at the college level. She has many offensive moves in her “bag”, while being able to get stops on the defensive end and score with any mismatch in her favor. She possesses a good amount of physicality and does a great job of letting the game come to her. On top of all that, she displays a great attitude. When things get tough she understands to put her head down and push through adversity with her teammates. In the end, it’ll all work out. Yosten has size, smarts and skill. As of most recent she has received a D1 offer from Sacramento State. I expect interest like this to grow significantly moving into her senior season but we will just have to wait and see.

She has displayed that she can spead the floor and hit a three or catch it on the outside and take it in for a strong look on the right side of the hoop. She does a fantastic job of getting her back to the basket in someway when she is near the paint with the ball in her hands so that she can feel her opponent on her back. Giving her the ability to slow things down for a moment and make an efficient move, usually ending with a bucket at the rim for herself. Having a big like Yosten is a privilege as a coach in todays game. Someone who can be powerful in the paint over a good amount of the players out there while also being agile enough to move down the floor rather quickly. This group has every weapons to be great this season and Avery is going to be a big part of that.
