Jade is one of those players that you watch and then ask yourself what can’t she do! She is a long, athletic guard that used her length on the boards and got defensive stops. She has great court vision and was able to get to the basket and finish in a variety of ways.
Ellie has a high motor and is just a hustle player through and through! She has a nice outside shot and is not afraid of contact while driving the lane. She helped her team get the win in the OT games at the end of the day.
Lexi is a solid rim protector. She had multiple blocks in the game I watched. She ran the floor well and has good footwork in the post.
Breeghan pushes the pace on offense and has good handles. She is a crafty passer and knows the angles to get the ball into the post. She has a good mid-range jumper to go along with getting to the basket and finishing through contact.
Alesia was one of my favorite players from the day. She is a long, athletic guard who plays well beyond her years. She ran the point at times and would also post up when she had smaller guards on her. She guarded 1-5 and had hands all over the ball and came away with multiple steals. Knock-down shooter!!
Peyton aggressively goes for every rebound on both ends of the floor. She is a strong player and has good footwork on the offensive end of the floor. She also has a nice touch from behind the arc.
I didn’t have a roster when I first sat down court side of the Oxford game, but it didn’t take me long to ask who #3 was! Allison plays under control while pushing the pace on offense. She is crafty getting to the basket and finishing through contact and has a great shot behind the arc.

I was not surprised at all when I heard that Jordan was invited to attend the Northwood open gym with the college players at the end of the night. She is a long guard who uses her size to get downhill. She made some great long court passes and rebounds at a high level.
Highlights
Anna is a guard that I bet many don’t like to guard! She uses her strength to bully her defenders while pushing the pace. She is not afraid of contact and many times her team would clear a side of the court and just let her go to work. I didn’t keep track of the amount of times that she got to the free-throw line, but it was many!
Every team needs a shooter and Royal Oak has themselves one with Emilee. She has a nice touch from distance and moves well without the ball to get open. She also does a great job getting to the basket and finishing through contact.
