Alesia was at her best against a top ten opponent, and the result was a big-time bounce-back win for Saginaw Heritage against St. Mary’s Prep. Alesia was dialed in from deep. She found the bottom of the net four times from beyond the arc and led the Hawks with 18 points.

Alesia enters her senior season at Heritage determined to finish her high school career on a high note. Despite dealing with injuries over the years, she has consistently proven that, when she’s on the floor, she’s one of the premier wing players in Michigan. Her defensive presence stands out immediately—she anticipates passes, slides well to cut off drives, and uses her reach to challenge shots and control the boards. Offensively, Alesia brings a polished inside-out skill set, showcasing strong footwork in the paint, steady ball control, and the ability to score from the perimeter or attack the rim. With Heritage positioned as a top-tier Division 1 contender and firmly in the hunt for the SVL North crown, her impact will be felt on both ends of the court. After graduation, she’ll continue her career at Ferris State University, where her versatility and competitiveness should translate seamlessly.

Alesia has battled through injuries during her high school career, but when healthy, she’s easily one of the top wings in the state. Alesia earned the first-ever PGH Michigan Player of the Week Award last December with 44 points, 19 rebounds, seven blocks, and seven assists in two games. She played well for Mystics P24 on the circuit and will be an important senior leader for Heritage this season. Alesia works hard on defense and as a rebounder. She closes passing windows, moves her feet to shut down driving lanes, and contests shots using her length. Alesia has excellent footwork inside and handles the ball with poise. She’s a confident perimeter shooter who can score at all three levels. Heritage is a top ten team in Division One and will be competing for an SVL North title this year. Alesia will be continuing her basketball career at Ferris State following graduation.

Alesia is headed to Spooky Nook in Pennsylvania for the first live period, and she’s bringing her all-around game with her. A stat sheet stuffer every time she steps on the court, Alesia impacts the game in every facet – scoring, rebounding, playmaking, and defending. The skilled guard already holds multiple Division 1 and 2 offers, and she’s in a great position to attract even more attention this spring and summer. She shoots it well from the perimeter and uses her length to make life difficult for opponents on the defensive end. With her versatility and consistency, she is a name coaches should be circling.

Ode turned a ton of heads with her play for the Mystics P24 Dalton team. You can’t teach her length, ball skills and ease of movement. You also generally can’t defend against it. Ode was simply a difference maker.

Ode’s game spoke volumes with the Mystics – Dalton at the Select Super Showcase. She’s coming off a huge month of June in which she showed that she’s an elite wing in Michigan. Ode’s length, ball skills and athleticism have been giving defenders fits throughout the weekend. She can attack off the bounce and has a dangerous pull up jumper.

Ode was putting on a shooting clinic at the Ferris Team Camp. She was hitting shots on catch and shoot, off the bounce, and with a nice step-back from the top of the key. She left the Ferris Camp with an offer, and I’m sure she’ll receive more offers before the summer is over because of her elite play.
