It’s been a great year so it only makes sense that I see some great talent to end the season. Below are 5 players in the 2026 class that produced today for their perspective teams at a high level, standing out to myself and everyone else in the gym. Thanks for tuning in and enjoy!
Brooklyn Maves Brooklyn Maves 5’7″ | SG Evansville | 2026 State WI is one of the most pure scorers at the 15U level competing here at PGH 2K23 this weekend. Maves has a fundamental and balanced shot from all three levels on the floor, while being a solid handler and rebounder of the ball as well. In the two contests that I saw her compete in today, she was the most “put together” player, that was on the floor between both teams out there. In one contest specifically Maves had 18 points on 5-8 shooting from behind the arc. Overall, a nice prospect, that could play at a really high level, looking toward the future.
Highlights
Ava Tisch Ava Tisch 5’3″ | PG Lincoln Way West | 2026 IL is a smaller point guard that plays much bigger than her physical size. Tisch has a lighting quick first step while attacking the hoop and possesses some nice touch on the ball once she gets near the middle of the lane. On several occasions today I watched Tisch knock down big three’s or score near the rim in some form. Wether it was by her patented scoop-hook shot over a bigger defender or with a normal finish through contact. Tisch also displayed a good attitude when things didn’t go her. Something that is important when recruiting a player from a scouts perspective. Tomorrow she will look to expand on everything from today, something that is more than possible.
Alana Mainville Alana Mainville 5’8″ | SG New Berlin Eisenhower | 2026 WI was a prospect that I saw all over the floor today, on a consistent basis. Wether she was trying to attack the rim and score a bucket, or get a major stop on defense, Mainville was involved most of the time for her team. Sometimes there is just a player on the floor, who doesn’t stop making plays, in some form for their teams. Well, that player today was Alana. Her Chapman Basketball Academy South 2026 Antholine team went 2-0 and was pretty impressive in all their wins. I’ve seen this team compete a few time this season and in every game, they are in it until the end, with a chance to come out on top. Tomorrow, we will see if Mainville and Company can keep that undefeated streak alive through the last day of this event.
McKenna Cooley McKenna Cooley 5’7″ | SG Ouachita Parish Highschool | 2026 LA showed a lot of promise in her teams contest today. Cooley is a lengthy and athletic combo guard, who can handle the ball and attack off of the dribble, or pull up from three off of the catch if she has time. Her size and speed are impressive. Just by watching her for a few plays you can tell that she already has the physical abilities to play at the next level. Over the next few seasons, if she works on the right things and expands her game as a guard, while growing simultaneously, she is going to be a player to be known on a national level. No other way to put it.

Zoey Kauffman
Zoey Kauffman
Zoey Kauffman was one of the first players that stood out to me today. Kauffman has size and versatility. She is a natural ball-handler and guard when she is in the game but can be moved to play the 2-4 position with her size, at any given moment. In one of her contests today Kauffman scored her teams first 10 points, on the way to leading her squad to an overall victory. I saw a lot of players out there today that had a good “feel” for the game, Kauffman being one of the best. Her team will also have a chance tomorrow to stay undefeated through Day 2, will they though? We will have to wait and see.
