Instead of focusing on recruiting in totality, this latest high school girls basketball recruiting article for New Jersey will specifically focus on college commitments. We've seen quite a few over the last few weeks, so we will focus on the ones we have yet to talk about as of recently.

[player_tooltip player_id='406949' first='Simone' last='Pintinalli'] - Notre Dame (2024) commits to Ithaca

Pintinalli kept relatively quiet about her recruiting in recent months, but on July 11, she announced on social media her commitment to Ithaca for the continuation of her basketball career.

The 2024 recruit had a breakout offensive season for Notre Dame as a junior, averaging 10.4 PPG and just over 2.3 made three-pointers a game, both career-highs for her. Just in the past two seasons alone, Pintinalli has knocked down more than 100 threes, accounting for more than 70 percent of her overall offense. Ithaca wasted no time picking up the sharp shooter based on that success alone.

[player_tooltip player_id='325185' first='Chloe' last='Vasquez'] - Pequannock (2024) commits to Iona

The three-time all-conference and three-time all-county selection was bound to play college ball, and on Sunday, she announced her commitment to Iona.

Her last two seasons with the Panthers have been incredible, not to mention historic as she reached 1000 career points, 100 made three-pointers and 500 career rebounds. Just last season, in 25 games, she averaged 20.2 PPG, 8.1 RPG, 2.7 APG, 2.8 SPG and 2.4 made three-pointers a game. She's averaged just under 18.0 PPG in 64 career games with Pequannock, just an incredible offensive player with so many intangibles.

[player_tooltip player_id='333351' first='Sidney' last='Quinn'] - Gill St. Bernard's (2025) commits to Navy

Navy is no stranger to finding New Jersey talent to bring to Annapolis, and it looks like Quinn will be next in that lineage as the 2025 prospect verbally committed to the program on July 14.

Quinn has international experience already, playing for Ireland's U16 national team, and she's been balling out all the same at GSB, coming off a career season with 7.7 PPG, 5.1 RPG and 1.4 APG in 27 games. She's been a consistent defensive playmaker, averaging 1.3 blocks a game last season and 1.2 BPG for her career. Additionally, she has 37 steals in 49 career games.

[player_tooltip player_id='591477' first='Gandy' last='Malou-Mamel'] - Gill St. Bernard's (2025) commits to UConn

In terms of the stature of programs, this is one of the biggest commits we've seen in recent years as GSB 2025 prospect [player_tooltip player_id='591477' first='Gandy' last='Malou-Mamel'] verbally committed to UConn on Monday.

She's a physical specimen, a 6-5 forward with crazy reach, great positioning and a fantastic body of work already after her first season with the Knights. While 7.5 PPG/7.0 RPG averages don't pop off the page, we already know she'll be a double-double machine in no time. However, 2.3 blocks a game in 27 games is beyond impressive, putting her as one of the best shot-blockers in the 2025 class and in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id='489005' first='Maya' last='Summerville'] - Morristown (2024) commits to Northeastern

It seemed that the recruiting trail was quieter than expected for Summerville in recent weeks, but the 2024 prospect announced her verbal commitment to Northeastern on Monday.

Production, production, production. That's the only way, and the right way, to describe Summerville's career with Morristown so far. Last season, she was three rebounds short of a double-double average, finishing with 12.3 PPG, 9.9 RPG, 2.7 APG, 2.7 SPG and 3.6 BPG in 26 games, career-highs across the board. Let's not forget she also hit 21 threes, showing great versatility offensively. Summerville is turning into the complete package as a player and she's truly been a force to be reckoned with.

[player_tooltip player_id='501852' first='McKenna' last='Karlson'] - Manasquan (2024) commits to New Hampshire

Within days of each other at the end of June and in early July, Karlson had received a pair of offers from American and New Hampshire. However, on July 5, she picked the Wildcats, verbally committing to New Hampshire.

Her production for Manasquan doesn't fully reflect how good she is, something she's showed this summer with NJ Rise What's positive to note for those who follow high school girls basketball in the state is that she averaged a career-high 7.0 PPG, 1.9 SPG and 0.8 made three-pointers a game in 28 games played. She can spread the floor and shoot from distance, pull up for a quick 10-15 footer, or drive the lane and get contact at the rim, plus her on-ball defense is simply class.
