World Record for Youth Basketball Team Attendance. There were so many talented teams and players competing in Louisville across the seven day span. It obviously would’ve been impossible to catch everyone, but I did my best to catch multiple teams in multiple different divisions. Here are some of the players that stood out to me in the 2025 divisions.
Versatile and tough. Made a lot of strong drives to the hoop. Ability to finish over or through contact on both sides of the rim was impressive. Can extend all the way out to the perimeter offensively. Grabbed rebounds strong off of the rim and consistently crashed the boards.

Another versatile player who can play and guard multiple positions. Did a great job on the boards and stayed poised no matter what kind of pressure she faced. Handled the ball well and made strong passes. Finished inside on both sides of the rim. Knocked down shots. Really able to contribute in many different ways.
Great size and versatility. Good ball handling and passing skills. Stayed composed under pressure and wasn’t forcing stuff that wasn’t there. Good court vision and decision making in transition. Recognized mismatches and finished strong on both sides of the rim.

Strong and consistently ran the floor. Impossible not to notice how hard she was playing every second she was on the floor. Has a nice outside shot and made some really tough drives to get to the basket or to get into the paint. Did a great job drawing fouls. Rebounded strong.

Did a great job finding and moving to the gaps on the perimeter. Lefty is a good shooter with strong court vision. Strong defensively and didn’t shy away from contact on her drives. Made good passes down the floor. Played hard.

Good hands and good size. Caught some tough passes, including making some catches in traffic. Ability to elevate over defenders to get her shot off really stood out. Finished well around the rim. Used length to grab rebounds off the rim.
Showed true floor general skills. Set her team up in the offense, recognized when to attack gaps, handled pressure well, made good passes, etc. Knocked down shots and got into the paint. Hard worker.
Defended the paint well despite being undersized down low. Showed an ability to guard multiple positions. Rebounded strong. Showed she can be effective inside or out offensively.
