Run 4 the Roses Class of 2027 Standout Forwards

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prep Girls Hoops Missouri takes a look at some of the top Missouri Class of 2027 forwards that we watched at last week's Run 4 the Roses Showcase in Louisville, KY.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Maddie Elliott ([program_tooltip program_id='715747' first='Team' last='Blackout'] 17U): The 6'1" forward from Father Tolton was playing up at the 17U level and more than holding her own against the older players. She used good fundamentals in the low post with her ability to seal, catch and make strong moves to score. She used the backboard very well. She can also rebound and she throws an excellent outlet pass to start the fast break. She is very good with her back to the basket with her ability to establish position and score in the post. She keeps the ball high and she has a nice touch off the glass. She can score around the basket and she is strong enough to move people around inside. She also operates well from the high post with her ability to shoot the jumper or make a move off the dribble. She is a good shooter who was knocking down 3-pointers from the left wing. She can also attack the basket and finish well. She works well in the high post with a quick move off the bounce. She cuts well off the ball and score with either hand around the basket.
