Rosalia Sali
The Brookfield East post player didn’t get much run in the past few seasons due to a West Virginia volleyball commit who anchored that Spartan defense expertly. This season, Sali has an opportunity to leave a mark on the Spartan program continuing the recent success of versatile post players who can shoot from the perimeter and dominate the area around the rim defensively. Her improvement from April to July is stark, and she could surprise some teams in the GMC.
Megan Geason Megan Geason 5'11" | SF Oak Creek | 2025 State WI
There was one Division 1 coach watching Geason’s group in Iowa, and that coach left impressed with her physical profile and athleticism. Watching Geason run the floor and attack the rim is one of the most aesthetically pleasing things from this past AAU season. She’s strong, fast, agile, and willing to take contact around the rim. If there were one name to watch over the next 12 months because they could blow up, it’d be Geason. Her ability to attack the rim, put stress on defenses in transition, and make good decisions when attacking the rim, are all things that will translate to the next level.
Taylor Lillie
I have a soft spot for smaller guards who can shoot it. Lillie stands at about 5-5 but has some strength in her frame, making her jumper look effortless. Plenty of kids at her age level who’ll shy away from shooting if they miss a few shots, but Lillie’s confidence is something that I hope she keeps through high school. I’m not sure if there’s a role for her at Hortonville this season that she could earn consistent minutes in, but she’ll be a nice piece to the Polar Bear puzzle for multiple seasons.
Makenzie Hawk Makenzie Hawk 6'0" | PF Sun Prairie West | 2025 State WI
I believe that Hawk has an opportunity to be a serious player at the next level. You won’t find kids with her strength, athleticism, size, and motor. Yes, there’s still a long way to go for her, but I thought she was among the most talented kids I watched in the 2025 class this past weekend. There is a pathway for her to become one of the prominent figures in the Big 8 next season, and it’s up to her to take that opportunity and run with it.
