Fisher is back at it for the Lady Red Foxes this fall. Tatiana didn’t play on the Grassroots Circuit this past summer and just remained working out on her own. She has really continued to progress around the paint with her play.
Fisher who has no problems at all playing physical down low in the paint. Tatiana cleans up on the glass on both ends of the court while keeping the ball up high after claiming it off the glass. She does a really nice job of carving out space and sealing off the defender down low.
Mickell is no stranger here to Prep Girls Hoops as a player. Trinity certainly plays at a small Class 1A school down here the Georgia border in the Lowcountry. Mickell is a bruiser in the paint with her ability to just absorb contact along the way.
Trinity has a nice set of shoulders to fight off defenders in the paint. Mickell is a great mover-screener on the floor for her team. She will play with her back to the basket and really work on both sides of the block. Clark University – NCAA D2 recently offered Mickell this summer after her play on the Grassroots Circuit.
Maybe it’s time to make a trip down to see the Lady Tigers in Allendale County this fall.
Nesbitt was on the shelf this summer at times and didn’t play this past June at the SCBCA #SCLive in Rock Hill. Trinity scraps for everything she does down low on the block. She can at times show a 2-3 dribble attack to the basket from the top of the key. Trinity will jump on loose balls and manufacture points on just effort alone at times.
Nesbitt plays in the Upstate for the Lady Wildcats in Piedmont. Can Woodmont make some noise this season in the Upstate?
Scott helped Hilton Head Christian win another SCISA State Championship last March. Morgan a former May River HS player teamed up with Trinity Mickell Trinity Mickell 6’0″ | C Allendale-Fairfax | 2024 State SC on Lowco WBB 2024 on the Grassroots Circuit.
Scott at times like to face-up from the elbow and drop some jumpers. Morgan will get position at times down on the block while posting up. She has no problems playing facing-up to the basket.
Can she help the Lady Eagles win another SCISA State Championship come this season?
Brown went in a bit of a hiatus at times this summer. Savannah didn’t play in the SCBCA #SCLive event this past June. Brown really likes to play more as a face-up player on the floor. Savannah has great passing skills from the high post area.
Brown can extend the defense with her ability to play as pick and pop or stretch forward on the floor. Savannah can step-out to three-point land and knockdown perimeter jumpers along the way. She has a nice skill set to operate at the college level.
Hayes is a great piece of the puzzle on this team at Wren HS in the Upstate. She plays with plenty of talent on this roster for Head Coach Pamela McGowens. Deyana is a worker down low with her ability to hit the boards on both ends of the floor. She can score the ball on putbacks around the cup.
She always looks to be in good position on the floor to make a play. Hayes plays with Raina McGowens and Olivia Randolph on this roster for the Lady Hurricanes. Deyana understands on how to work and maintains a blue-collar mindset at times while on the floor.
Young had a good summer with the Lady Vikings and on the Grassroots Circuit. Genesis showed some flashes with her play down in the paint. She seems to be at her best working for position with her back to the basket down low. Genesis is a good fit for a half-court offense at times with her play down on the block.
She will battle down low for position and really look to carve out space at times. Genesis likes to play the game through contact. Young has a soft touch from 4 feet in.
