Here are a few players who definitely got themselves into that next tier of players to watch in the coming months.
This time next year we might all be asking “where did she come from?”. London hasn’t been playing organized ball very long so her development has been impressive this summer. A natural athlete that has been playing mostly soccer, London has rapidly improved and picked up a lot of the nuances of the game. She has speed, which she uses to beat other bigs up the court, to go along with upper body strength and some impressive vertical. Her skills are emerging and she has been flashing a lot of potential so don’t be surprised to see her name blow up in the coming months.
Daniya Brown
Daniya Brown
I first saw Daniya with Elevate Elite, but she now runs with GTS Fusion . Every team needs shooters so college coaches should definitely be checking for her as she is one of the best in the area. She has excellent footwork so when she catches, she is ready to fire away. She has a quick release and misses do not shake her confidence. Definitely one to watch. I’m looking forward to seeing how she does this fall and into the high school season.
Elizabeth Smith
Elizabeth Smith
Elizabeth showed out in the second half. She shot the ball with a lot of confidence and is a threat from anywhere on the court. She excels when she is stepping into threes in transition, and in catch and shoot corner threes. She’s long and lanky and doesn’t need a lot of room to get her shots off. Her defense has improved, and she is more comfortable attacking close outs off the dribble.

Jaden is a pass first point guard with a solid frame and a good set of fundamentals. She is an exceptional athlete and plays at a controlled pace but has a second gear that she can get to quickly. Defensively she held her own, sliding her feet well and disrupting plays. I think she is set up to have a great high school season. Rumors are that she could be transferring so lets see where she lands.
Tough guard with a quick release from deep. She’s dangerous off the catch and can create separation off the dribble. She’s strong enough to get to the bucket and finish through contact, which makes her even more dangerous. She tightened up her handle and moved seamlessly between both guard positions. She could be one of the top scorers in Montgomery County this season.
