Freshman Showcase: Team Eight Evaluations

The Illinois Freshman Showcase brought out some of the best freshman from the area. Like the rest of the teams participating, Team Eight was filled with superstars and the evaluations are below. [player_tooltip player_id='743604' first='Hayden' last='Fahy'] & [player_tooltip player_id='728004' first='Sophia' last='Towne'] were nominated to the All-Tournament Teams.   [player_tooltip player_id='743603' first='Harmony' last='Danforth'] #120 (5'8" Guilford) is smooth to the basket and has great form. She has a nice little floater that she executes with ease.    [player_tooltip player_id='743583' first='Abby' last='Dulinsky']  #122 (5'8" Joliet Catholic) has great length and wingspan.  A lengthy forward who makes a push forward on every play. Will see great things from her.   [player_tooltip player_id='624978' first='Arabella' last='Silva'] #146 (5'7" Maine East) is strong to the basket with a a nice finish. Handles the ball well and battles for loose balls and rebounds. She delivered for her team when needed.   [player_tooltip player_id='743629' first='Olivia' last='Beaman'] #147 (5'7" Neuqua Valley) will battle anyone to the basket.  She utilized change of speed extremely well to stop defenders. Has good footwork on both the perimeter and in the post.   [player_tooltip player_id='743618' first='Makena' last='Cleary'] #157 (5'9"Crystal Lake South) had a ton of hustle during the showcase. She battled for rebounds and didn't back down from anyone she was guarding.   [player_tooltip player_id='743594' first='Charlii' last='Lopez'] #184 (5'3"Amundsen) displayed good court awareness in the guard position. She did this on both ends of the court. Handled the ball with ease and got good shots off when needed.   [player_tooltip player_id='743611' first='Lana' last='Hobday'] #189 (5'2" Huntley) was in constant movement on the court. Fast feet allowed her to get her to where she needed to be for her team.
